Manager Park’s voice echoed through the office.
“Mr. Kim Jangbung, didn’t you hear me tell you to hurry up and submit a countermeasure proposal?”
Jangbung blinked, caught off guard.
“What are you talking about?”
Manager Park sighed, leaning back in his chair.
“Last time, a new platform came out, so I told you to submit a countermeasure proposal.”

“I submitted it as an agenda for a meeting a month ago, but it was rejected before I could even say a few words?”
Manager Park waved a hand, dismissing the concern.
“Rejected? That’s a bit harsh. I meant to reinforce it a bit and submit it. Anyway, where is it?”
Jangbung pointed to his computer screen.
“If it’s that, it should be in the team folder, Taplatform.”
Manager Park clapped his hands.
“I checked, let’s go to the conference room now.”
The conference room smelled faintly of stale coffee.
“Why are you so late, Manager Choi?” Manager Park called out, his tone teasing.
Manager Choi hurried in, adjusting her glasses.
“I’m sorry, Manager Park. It took some time to write up the countermeasure proposal.”
Manager Park nodded, settling into his chair.
“Anyway, let’s get started. This new platform that came out recently. I thought it would just be a launch like before, but the aggressive marketing is too strong. Come up with a countermeasure proposal.”
Manager Choi raised a hand, her voice bright.
“Just a moment. Let’s give a reasonable reward for this black-haired alien from another world and sign a contract.”
Jangbung interjected, his tone cautious.
“Manager Choi… The title of the black-haired alien isn’t alien…”
Manager Park shot him a look.
“Manager, do I really have to point out such trivial things?”
Jangbung lowered his head.

Manager Park continued, undeterred.
“As Manager Choi said, I’ll give you an award for this. Just make up some random award. It would be a waste to just give you prize money, so give the art team a suitable cover and a promotional event.”
Manager Choi nodded, jotting down notes.
“And let’s sign and proceed with the works that had their events delayed in the past.”
Jangbung tilted his head, confused.
“Huh? Were there any works in the adult male category that had their events delayed?”
Manager Choi smiled, pulling up a file.
“Manager Kim must have forgotten. There were a few works that coincidentally hadn’t received events yet. I found them.”
Manager Park’s tone sharpened.
“Manager Kim! Are you really going to do that? You’ve been here for several years! You should have done it more properly.”
Jangbung’s shoulders slumped.
“I’m sorry. You told me to cut it if there were any specific words or age issues…”
Manager Park’s eyes narrowed.
“Who said that!”

Manager Choi laughed, waving her hands.

Jangbung rubbed his neck, embarrassed.

Manager Park clapped once, his voice upbeat.
“Okay. Let’s do it well! Please! Your salary isn’t something you find by digging.”
Jangbung nodded weakly.
“Yes…”
Manager Park gestured toward the door.
“Manager Kim, go out, Manager Choi stay!”
Jangbung stood, his voice quiet.
“Okay, I’ll go out.”
Manager Park turned to Manager Choi, his tone softening.
“Manager Choi, take good care of the kids. And how are you going to proceed with the romance with Belbelsai?”
Manager Choi grinned, leaning forward.
“Haha, why are you so cold-hearted? I have a good idea.”
Jangbung’s sigh deepened as he heard the two people talking across the conference room.
