Chapter 54: Duplicity

Zhou Ting’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he gazed at her soaked chest, slowly leaning in.

Lin Xiaoxiao shrank back, trying to dodge, but trapped in his arms, she had nowhere to go.

A warm sensation grazed her neck, making her tremble.

She could only watch as he kissed down her neck to her collarbone, and further…

When he finally lifted his head, her shirt was pulled low, revealing a tantalizing view.

Combined with her shy, misty eyes and disheveled hair, she was utterly captivating.

He smacked his lips, chuckling with satisfaction. “This wine tastes pretty good…”

Her face flushed deeper, and she glared. “Pervert!”

Though meant as a curse, her soft voice lacked any edge, sounding more like a pout, only egging him on.

And he took the bait, handing her the wine bottle and glass, his intent clear.

Her hands trembled, indignation surging. This damn jerk, always bullying her…

She refused to comply—pouring wine like that was too shameful, something only a brazen woman would do.

But Zhou Ting was patient, his faint smile unwavering, the glass still extended.

The room filled with a charged, ambiguous tension.

Finally, Lin Xiaoxiao gave in, shakily pouring the wine into his glass.

His lips curved upward.

The rose-red wine slid down her skin, pooling at her collarbone, glistening droplets clinging to her, waiting for her “master” to savor, over and over…

He grew bolder, her clothes and hair now drenched in wine, making her even more alluring.

Biting her lip, she watched him buried in her chest, a mix of shame and an unprecedented sense of security washing over her…

Gradually, her resistance faded. Hesitantly, she lifted her hand, resting it on his head, letting him continue.

When he looked up, seeing the red marks on her skin, he said smugly, “I’m a pervert? Then what’s my little one—a masochist?”

Her face exploded in red, and she denied, “No way! You forced me…”

He gave a meaningful “Oh.” “Is that so? Fine, don’t admit it. By the way, miss your master these past few days?”

She huffed, “Not at all!”

This jerk didn’t even come find her—why would she miss him?

“Liar,” he teased, toying with her wet hair, ready to provoke her further.

A knock on the door startled her, and she panicked.

Oh no! She’d forgotten she was a server, lingering in the room so long… drenched in wine, covered in kiss marks. If anyone saw, no explanation would suffice.

Unlike her panic, Zhou Ting was calm, glancing at the door before shoving her under the table, hidden by the tablecloth.

Snapping out of it under the table, she wondered how she’d ended up here—and why was he so practiced at this?

But to avoid detection, she stayed put, barely breathing.

The door opened, and the manager entered with a fawning smile, followed by Xiao Wang.

Seeing Zhou Ting alone, the manager was puzzled but didn’t show it. “Mr. Zhou, are the dishes to your liking?”

Zhou Ting, one hand taming the girl under the table, said coolly, “They’re fine. The wine’s good.”

The manager noticed the spilled wine on the floor, understanding, and smiled wider. “As long as you’re pleased. I won’t disturb your meal.”

He turned to leave, dragging the curious Xiao Wang out.

Outside, Xiao Wang said worriedly, “Manager, Xiaoxiao…”

The manager patted his shoulder. “You saw—she’s not in there. Probably slacking off somewhere. Get back to work, don’t overthink.”

Xiao Wang wasn’t convinced. He sensed the manager and the man had ulterior motives. Had Xiaoxiao really slipped away?

Worried but helpless, he returned to the break room, pulled out his phone, and dialed Lin Xiaoxiao’s number from yesterday.

It rang for a while before connecting. Relieved, he asked, “Xiaoxiao, you okay?”

“I-I’m fine… What’s up?” Her voice was halting, muffled, trying to sound normal but clearly off.

His heart sank. As a seasoned loner, he knew something was wrong. “Are you still at the restaurant? The manager was mad you weren’t around. Where are you? I’ll find you.”

“Oh? T-that’s it… No need, I’m fine…” The call cut off, leaving him uneasy.

In the private room, Lin Xiaoxiao knelt on the floor, her shirt slipping off her jade-like shoulders, one shoe missing, revealing a white sock. Her rosy lips were busy, her eyes resentful as Zhou Ting held the phone she’d tried to grab.

He took a deep breath, coughing with mock seriousness. “Little one, focus. Distraction causes trouble.”

Blushing, she looked away. If she didn’t satisfy this jerk, he wouldn’t let her leave.

Resigned, she worked harder to end this absurd “service” quickly.

Eventually, Zhou Ting took her from the restaurant to a hotel.

Her first priority was a shower—her body was sticky, and while he was satisfied, she was miserable.

Her legs still trembled, though just from kneeling too long…
