Chapter 39: I’m sorry for your bad teeth
One magical girl is fragrant.
Two magical girls are fragrant and soft.
Yao Bai squatted in a corner, clutching her little face, utterly distressed.
Why did transforming into a witch make her so weird?
She felt an intense fascination with magical girls.
This fascination made Yao Bai lose control, wanting to act on it with them.
“Wah… Ran Huang, I’m so sorry! ”
Yao Bai stood up slowly, her face mournful, truly not meaning to.
Ran Huang, as a magical girl, just captivated Yao Bai too much.
Otherwise, Yao Bai would never, ever have done that to her!
Her mind was a jumbled mess, and she banged her head against the wall a few times, hoping the pain would erase the images.
But the less Yao Bai tried to think, the clearer Jasmine’s image became.
Jasmine’s refined face, her glossy, rosy lips.
Everything about Jasmine mattered to her!
Not just Jasmine—she cared about Rose, too.
Yao Bai didn’t know what was wrong; her heart raced, and she felt warm.
Beep.
Her phone rang.
The caller ID read: The Happiest Little Sister in the World~
Feifei Bai had set that name herself.
“Sister, where are you?! Why aren’t you home?”
Feifei Bai’s shouts rang through, hurting Yao Bai’s ears.
“Feifei, no school today?”
“Sister, are you dumb? A huge battle happened in the city center, so school let out early.”
Yao Bai remembered Feifei’s school was near the city center.
A massive battle there had disrupted nearby residents’ lives.
A student holiday was only natural.
“Oh… I’m out shopping. Suddenly, boom, the city center exploded—scared me silly.”
“What? Sister, are you okay?”
“Don’t worry, I’m fine. I’m heading home now. The city center’s chaos, but I’m almost there. Got you some cute clothes~”
“Wow! Sister, you’re the best!”
“Yep, let’s talk more at home.”
Yao Bai hung up quickly; she was still in the city center, far from home.
To get back fast, she’d need her witch powers.
Yao Bai transformed into Pride, teleported near home, and reverted, calmly unlocking the door.
The lock’s click caught Feifei Bai’s attention.
“Xiaoxiao, my sister’s back! Just wait—you’ll be jealous when you see my pretty dress!”
Feifei Bai bragged to Xiaoxiao Ye, smug as ever.
“No big deal! My sister buys me stuff, too!”
Xiaoxiao Ye pouted, feigning indifference, but she was super envious inside.
If she could, she’d be even more jealous of Feifei.
Today, she learned Feifei skipped morning and evening study and extra classes!
Poor Xiaoxiao Ye had sat alone at their desk, thinking Feifei was sick.
When she asked today, the truth hit hard!
Feifei’s sister got her excused from study sessions and classes.
She’d even spoken to the teacher like a boss, making Xiaoxiao Ye insanely jealous.
She wished she could trade sisters with Feifei.
“Sister!” Feifei Bai leapt into Yao Bai’s arms, rubbing her face happily.
“Careful!”
Yao Bai dropped her bags, catching Feifei’s bouncy backside to steady them.
“Sister, gimme a kiss!”
Mua! (╯3╰)
Feifei Bai kissed Yao Bai hard, then hopped down, grabbing the bags to check them on the table.
Clothes, snacks… everything was there.
“Sister, four qipaos? Two seem like the wrong size.”
“The blue-and-white one’s yours. That one’s Xiaoxiao’s, the white one’s mine, and the black one’s for Rou Ye.”
“Huh?”
Feifei Bai’s jaw dropped, stunned.
“Wow! Thanks, Sister Yao Yao~”
Xiaoxiao Ye gleefully snatched her qipao from Feifei, tilting her head in victory.
Feifei Bai stared at Yao Bai, as if her sister wasn’t even hers.
“Hmph, you got one too? Total miscalculation!”
Feifei sulked briefly but soon focused on her qipao.
It was perfectly fitted, with gorgeous patterns, screaming luxury.
While Feifei admired her dress, Xiaoxiao Ye’s eyes darted, and she sat beside Yao Bai, hugging her arm.
“Sister Yao Yao, you’re so nice. I can’t repay you, so I’ll just offer myself.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?!” Feifei Bai exploded at Xiaoxiao Ye’s bold words.
“That’s my sister! No hugging her!”
“Sister Yao Yao didn’t say no—why’re you so worked up?”
“I say no, so it’s no!”
“You don’t get to decide!”
The two girls grabbed Yao Bai’s arms, fighting over who she “belonged” to.
Exhausted from earlier and guilty about Ran Huang, Yao Bai had no energy to stop them.
Let them bicker.
“Let’s fight for it! Winner gets Sister Yao Yao!”
“Fine, I’m not scared!”
Spurred by Xiaoxiao’s taunt, Feifei agreed, not realizing she’d been tricked.
Yao Bai was her real sister—didn’t that mean she already “had” her?
In a flash, they started fighting.
Feifei’s left hook accidentally hit Yao Bai’s face, making her grimace.
“Can you two fight outside?”
Yao Bai clutched her face, her patience with her sister nearing zero.
She’d fought outside already; she didn’t need a home brawl, too.
“A mere sister dares order me?!”
Feifei Bai was too fired up to know her place.
Yao Bai’s eyebrow twitched, her temper igniting.
Minutes later.*
Feifei Bai limped to her room, rubbing her backside, glaring at Yao Bai.
“Stupid witch, just wait! When I’m older, I’ll get you back!”
“Hmph.”
Yao Bai scoffed at Feifei’s challenge.
“Xiaoxiao, sorry about that. Feifei’s a handful—hope she doesn’t bug you too much.”
“It’s okay.”
Xiaoxiao Ye scratched her head, still rattled.
She’d thought she’d get it too, but Yao Bai only disciplined Feifei.
Maybe because she wasn’t Yao Bai’s sister.
‘My sister’s always working. No chance to hit me—awesome~’
