Little White’s words left the two girls stunned.

Moments later, Feifei Bai appeared at the door.
“Little ferret, where are you?”
Feifei pushed the door open, crouching like a thief, oblivious to the two vibrant, youthful girls inside.
“My little ferret, come home with Mommy—I’ll raise you all white and chubby.”
Feifei spotted the ferret on the counter and reached to grab it.
But before she could, Ran Huang scooped it up.
Their eyes met, and Feifei’s face flushed slightly.

Feifei scratched her cheek awkwardly, glancing aside—where was Xiaoxiao Ye?
Xiaoxiao was slowly backing away, waving, silently mourning Feifei for three seconds.

Shu Long raised her hands like claws, a mischievous grin on her face.
“Jie jie jie!”
“No, no, stay back!”
Xiaoxiao grabbed a nearby vase, eyes shut tight, swinging it wildly.
Shu Long stopped just out of reach, cackling.
“Jie jie jie, that’s all you’ve got?”
“Little girl, you’re like a sweet, soft, sticky, creamy, crispy, honey-drizzled cake—come to big sister’s mouth, jie jie jie!”
“Nooo! (>﹏<) Don’t come closer!”
Xiaoxiao hurled the vase toward Shu Long’s side, smashing it to pieces with a crash.
Ran Huang, behind the counter, gasped—that vase was expensive!
Shu Long could work it off later; this was her idea, after all—why else would her vase get smashed?
Seeing her hit land, Xiaoxiao opened her eyes and rushed to where more vases were displayed.
Ran Huang couldn’t hold back, shouting, “Enough!”
Her stern voice filled the shop, freezing everyone.
Feifei, closest to her, shrank back, feeling like her homeroom teacher was yelling at her.
“Sorry, Shu Long’s just playful and wanted to tease you. We’re not bad people.”
Ran Huang explained the situation, and Feifei and Xiaoxiao learned they’d been set up by Shu Long from the moment they entered.
After clearing things up, the small misunderstanding was put aside.
They sat together, and Ran Huang looked at them seriously.
“You two can see Little White, right?”
“Little White? The ferret in your arms, Sister?”
Feifei’s gaze landed on Little White, confirming to Ran Huang that she could see it.
Little White was a magical creature, invisible to ordinary people—only those born with magic factors in their bodies could see it.
This proved Feifei and Xiaoxiao had the potential to become magical girls.
With Iris retired and the incident with Jasmine and Rose, the authorities wanted to expand the magical girl roster.

While Feifei was ecstatic, Xiaoxiao stayed calm.
“You’re not some pyramid scheme, are you?”
Becoming a magical girl just by being asked?
Xiaoxiao’s caution pleased Little White.
Be it pollutants, magical girls, or even witches—staying vigilant was always wise; it could save you in a pinch.
“We’re not a pyramid scheme. Hold the transformation items—you’ll know I’m telling the truth.”
Little White pushed the two items forward with its tiny paws, eagerly hoping they’d agree to become magical girls and protect the city together.

Shu Long teased darkly from between them.

Xiaoxiao screamed, jumping up, eyes shut, swinging her pink fists at Shu Long’s face.
The punch landed hard, turning Shu Long’s left eye into a panda ring.
“Ow! Pain, pain, pain!”
Shu Long fell, clutching her eye, wailing.
“S-s-sorry!”
Xiaoxiao, realizing she’d hit Shu Long, stammered nervously.
“Hiss~ It’s fine, I’m tough. A witch’s punch didn’t kill me—this is just a tickle.”
Shu Long exhaled through the pain, standing with the table’s help—she couldn’t lose face in front of future juniors.
Seeing Shu Long’s eye twitching, Ran Huang stifled a laugh.
That’s what she gets for being cheeky.
“Don’t just stare—try them. You won’t turn into pollutants.”
Shu Long, ignoring the pain, struck a pose she thought looked dependable, hands on hips.
Each girl took a star-shaped item—one pure white, the other a mix of red, yellow, and blue.
