Chapter 12: The beautiful teacher actually fed the baby in front of the whole school!

Lin Qingya stared at Bai Wanting, seeing her in a white lab coat for the first time.

So… so cool…

No, no, no! Now’s not the time for that!

Why was Little Sister Bai here?!

A barrage of question marks flooded her mind, adding a touch of adorable confusion to her already flushed face.

Across the table, Bai Wanting’s smile deepened at the sight of her silly, cute expression.

She extended a slender finger, pointing at the glossy pieces of guobaorou on Lin Qingya’s plate, her tone playfully coy.

“Let Sister try some of my little Qingya’s favorite guobaorou, okay~?”

The words “my little Qingya,” spoken in front of so many people, nearly made Lin Qingya’s soul leave her body.

She instantly felt the scorching gazes from all directions.

Oh no…

Her soul… was about to float away…

She wanted nothing more than to dig a hole and hide forever.

But…

Little Sister Bai was looking at her with those pleading, expectant eyes!

That voice, that tone, that expression…

No one could resist such a Little Sister Bai!

At least Lin Qingya couldn’t.

In a split-second battle between her crippling social anxiety and her instinct to please Little Sister Bai, the latter won by a landslide.

Instinctively, she picked up a piece of guobaorou with her chopsticks and stiffly extended it toward Bai Wanting’s mouth.

Throughout the process, her face burned red to her ears, her head bowed so low she didn’t dare look up.

Bai Wanting was utterly delighted with her response.

This wasn’t blind obedience under hypnosis—it was Lin Qingya, fully conscious and gripped by intense social anxiety, willingly feeding her!

Oh my gosh, what a treasure!

This feeling of being unconditionally favored was pure bliss!

Bai Wanting let out a deliberately drawn-out, sugary “Ahh~”

Under the watchful eyes of the entire cafeteria, she opened her mouth and ate the guobaorou, infused with the girl’s heartfelt affection.

Mmm, sweet and tangy—delicious.

Especially when fed by her beloved girl, the taste was indescribable.

She looked at Lin Qingya, whose face was now tomato-red, her hands nervously clasped together, eyes glued to the floor as if she wanted to burrow into it, clearly at her shyness limit.

If she didn’t ease the tension, the poor thing might actually faint.

Bai Wanting spoke slowly, her voice soft but clear enough for the eavesdropping students nearby to hear.

“Alright, no more teasing. Sister was specially hired by your Principal Tian as the new psychology teacher, starting today. I wanted to surprise you, so I didn’t tell you earlier.”

Lin Qingya slowly lifted her head, blinking her big, watery eyes.

Little Sister Bai was their school’s new psychology teacher!

Oh my gosh! That’s amazing!

Principal Tian was notoriously picky and strict—anyone he personally hired had to be exceptional!

Little Sister Bai… how could she be this incredible?!

“Your principal seems quite concerned about you,” Bai Wanting added, as if recalling something. “In his office earlier, he specifically asked me to keep an eye on your grades.”

Lin Qingya scratched her head sheepishly.

Thinking back to how she’d zoned out in physics class, daydreaming about Ski Safari, she felt guilty as sin.

Little Sister Bai was so outstanding, yet she was such a letdown…

No more spacing out in class! She had to study hard and not embarrass Little Sister Bai!

Bai Wanting glanced at the gossip-hungry students around them, her smile growing even warmer and more approachable.

She cleared her throat, turning to face the crowd with a bright smile. “As you can see, I’m the new psychology teacher, Bai Wanting.”

“If any of you are feeling stressed about studies or life, feel free to visit me at the counseling room on the third floor. Sister’s always here for you.”

Her words, paired with her stunning face and soothing voice, instantly won over every student in the room.

“Oh my gosh! The new psychology teacher isn’t just a gorgeous beauty—she’s so gentle!”

“Her voice is amazing! Mom, I’m in love!”

“I want the pretty teacher to buy me milk tea too!”

Bai Wanting smiled gracefully, ignoring the excited chatter.

She turned to Lin Qingya softly. “Qingya, come to the counseling room on the third floor after lunch. Sister has something to talk to you about privately.”

With that, she gave Lin Qingya a playful wink.

That little wink dealt critical damage to Lin Qingya’s heart.

She stared blankly as Bai Wanting walked away with elegant poise, drawing away the crowd’s attention with her.

Finally able to breathe, Lin Qingya glanced at her remaining food and the brown sugar milk tea Bai Wanting had bought her.

The thought of soon being alone with Little Sister Bai filled her with energy.

Time to eat!

Forgetting all about ladylike manners, she wolfed down her food in a flash, chugged the milk tea in one go, and didn’t even savor its sweetness before rushing to the tray return and bolting to the third floor.

She didn’t want to waste a single second of alone time with Little Sister Bai.

Soon, she reached the counseling room door.

Taking a deep breath to calm her excitement, she knocked lightly.

“Come in.”

Bai Wanting’s familiar voice came from inside.

Lin Qingya pushed the door open.

The room was cozy—light-colored walls, soft carpet, and a comfy fabric sofa that instantly put her at ease.

Bai Wanting sat on the wide sofa, fiddling with a tablet, likely reviewing some materials.

Seeing Lin Qingya, she set the tablet down, patted the spot beside her, and said softly, “Come here, Qingya.”

“Mmm!”

Lin Qingya nodded obediently, sitting close to Bai Wanting.

She sat upright, hands on her knees, nervously wondering how to start the conversation.

Should she compliment how cool Little Sister Bai looked in her lab coat?

Or say the new workplace was nice? Or maybe confess about her slipping grades?

Before she could speak, a warm breath brushed her ear.

Bai Wanting’s seductive whisper sounded softly.

“Barbie doll.”

Ah…

Lin Qingya’s body stiffened.

Her sparkling, excited eyes instantly dulled, becoming empty and vacant.

The flush on her face faded, replaced by a doll-like compliance and blankness.

Bai Wanting gazed at her handiwork with satisfaction, reaching out to gently pinch Lin Qingya’s delicate chin, forcing her to meet her eyes with that hollow gaze.

The soft sofa, the warm room—a space meant to heal hearts—now hosted a secretive act of control.

Bai Wanting leaned closer, her warm breath grazing Lin Qingya’s ear, her voice carrying absolute command.

“I need my little Qingya to tell me honestly…”

Her thumb brushed Lin Qingya’s smooth jaw as she asked, word by word:

“Are you still concerned about the murder case you found at the park last night?”
