Chapter 22: If it gets dirty, try my sister’s facial cleanser!

Lin Qingya didn’t know how she made it back to her room, or how she ended up lying in her bed.

Her mind replayed the humiliating scenes from the night before, over and over.

She felt so dirty.

She felt like she’d betrayed Little Sister Bai.

The mere thought of Bai Wanting’s gentle, beautiful smile made her heart ache as if it were tearing apart.

She curled up under the covers, her body trembling uncontrollably, tears silently soaking the pillowcase.

Just as despair threatened to swallow her whole, convincing her she’d stay awake until dawn, she inexplicably remembered the “stolen” item under her pillow.

With shaking hands, she pulled out the undergarment that belonged to Bai Wanting.

Almost instinctively, Lin Qingya buried her face deep into it, inhaling deeply, greedily drawing in that reassuring scent.

It was a fragrance a thousand times sweeter than jasmine, uniquely, irresistibly Bai Wanting’s.

Under its numbing spell, her mind gradually blanked out, leaving only the bliss and surrender of being dominated by that aroma.

So this was it… her love for Little Sister Bai had reached this level…

Only her scent could free her from this pain.

Lin Qingya breathed in obsessively until her brain fogged from oxygen deprivation, finally drifting into a deep, sickly satisfied sleep.

Knock knock knock.

A gentle rapping at the door pulled Lin Qingya from her hazy dreams.

“Qingya, are you up? You’ll be late for school if you don’t hurry.”

It was Little Sister Bai’s voice!

Lin Qingya bolted upright in bed.

Looking down, she saw Bai Wanting’s lace undergarment clutched tightly in her arms!

Oh no!

Her heart nearly leaped out of her throat. In a panic, she shoved it haphazardly under the pillow, pressing down hard to hide any trace.

Only then did she call out to the door, “S-Sister… I-I’m almost ready! Y-You… come in!”

Mmm… her voice dripped with guilt and nerves.

Thank goodness… Little Sister Bai always knocked.

If she’d just pushed the door open and caught her stealing her undergarment—and sleeping with it…

Lin Qingya couldn’t bear to imagine it.

Little Sister Bai would think she was an irredeemable pervert… and look at her with disgust…

The mere thought made her feel suffocated.

Creeeak—

The door eased open.

Bai Wanting entered, holding a cup of hot milk, dressed in a casual white maxi dress, her face lit with her usual gentle smile.

“Good morning, my little sleepyhead.”

She set the milk on the nightstand and sat naturally beside Lin Qingya.

“Did you sleep well last night? Your face looks so pale.”

Bai Wanting picked up the comb from the nightstand, beginning to smooth Lin Qingya’s tousled black hair.

The comb glided through the strands, so tenderly it stirred her heart.

That unique scent, warm with her body heat, once again enveloped Lin Qingya’s senses…

The humiliating, terrifying memories from last night surged back, overwhelming her rationality!

That purple-black witch… the cold, slick tendrils… the fingers invading her mouth, stirring freely…

She’d been toyed with like that by the witch…

She was unclean now…

She no longer deserved Little Sister Bai’s gentle care…

Fat tears rolled from Lin Qingya’s eyes, one, two, soon streaming steadily, soaking her pajama top.

“Wah…”

She bit her lip hard, desperate not to cry aloud, but the aggrieved whimper escaped anyway.

“Hm? Qingya?”

Bai Wanting’s combing paused, her smile freezing.

Her heart clenched painfully. She dropped the comb, scrambling to face Lin Qingya.

“What’s wrong, Qingya? Why are you crying? Did Sister hurt you?”

Bai Wanting feared nothing—except Lin Qingya’s tears, which always left her in a panic.

What happened?

Why was her baby crying so heartbrokenly?

Did something awful occur after she left last night?

Were those useless teammates bullying her? Or was the transformation device tormenting her?

A whirlwind of suspicions flashed through Bai Wanting’s mind, each stoking her murderous rage.

She couldn’t stand seeing Lin Qingya so sad.

It drove her mad with heartache, igniting her wildest destructive and protective urges.

She’d destroy whoever made her cry—make their whole family unable to shed another tear.

And protect her beloved treasure—her little Qingya deserved to be a carefree princess, smiling every day.

Bai Wanting opened her arms, pulling the sobbing Lin Qingya into her embrace, cradling her small head against her soft chest.

“No crying, no crying… my good Qingya, tell Sister—was it a nightmare?”

Her voice was soothing, healing. She tightened her hold, drawing Lin Qingya closer.

The warm, soft embrace carried that dizzying scent, invading her nostrils dominantly.

Lin Qingya’s face was enveloped in impossibly plush warmth, that addictive blend of milky sweetness and body heat drowning her completely.

Ah… brain… total blank…

All her grievances, fears, guilt—in that instant, washed away by the sweet aroma.

Exhausted from lack of sleep, her mind foggy and fragile, the “face-washing” assault plunged her into utter chaos.

She even forgot why she was crying, left only with an instinctive craving—to be held by Little Sister Bai, to claim this tenderness exclusively.

“Wah wah… Little Sister Bai…”

Lin Qingya surrendered to the haze, burying her face deeper, greedily inhaling as she choked out:

“C-Can… can you… not hate me…?”

Bai Wanting held her pitiful charge, pausing at the words.

Hate her?

She instantly understood Lin Qingya’s turmoil.

So… she’d made her baby cry?

Ah la la~

Mmm… it seemed her “witch” form last night had left too deep a psychological scar on this timid kitten.

What a fool, thinking she was unclean from the humiliation, fearing rejection.

How…

How utterly heart-meltingly cute.

A complex wave of emotions surged in Bai Wanting—genuine heartache, and… twisted delight.

Heartache for her baby’s pain and sadness.

Delight that, even after such torment, her first thought was fear of losing her.

Lin Qingya’s loyalty and love ran this deep.

What a wonderful feeling.

“Silly girl.”

Bai Wanting stroked her small head, holding her tighter.

“No more tears, Qingya. Don’t worry—Sister will never, ever hate you.”

The soft touch and richer scent struck Lin Qingya like a dimension-shattering blow.

Her consciousness drifted, body limp, at Bai Wanting’s mercy.

But those words pierced the fog, bringing a sliver of clarity.

She lifted her head slightly from the softness, her swollen, tearful eyes gazing at Bai Wanting, voice quivering: “R-Really…?”

“Of course.”

Bai Wanting leaned down, kissing away the tears on her cheek, then brushed her silky hair with gentle fingers, enunciating clearly:

“I’m… the person in this world who loves you the most… my Qingya.”

The sudden sweet confession caught Lin Qingya off guard.

But before she could savor the heart-pounding romance, Bai Wanting whispered four words by her ear.

“Barbie doll.”

Ah…

Lin Qingya’s pupils lost focus, turning vacant.

All her strength drained in that moment, transforming her into a truly soulless, exquisite doll.

Her gaze blank, she slumped fully into Bai Wanting’s arms, sinking into deep hypnosis.

Bai Wanting steadied her shoulders, letting her lean against her.

She wiped the tears from Lin Qingya’s cheeks with her thumb, her touch tender, her eyes a bottomless calm.

“My adorable Qingya, obey my command.”

Bai Wanting lifted Lin Qingya’s head, her voice soft yet commanding.

“You’ll forget everything that witch did to you last night. Those humiliating, filthy images will vanish completely from your memory.”

“You’ll only remember fighting her fiercely—you were a bit frightened, but you and your teammates successfully drove her off.”

“Understood?”

Lin Qingya murmured dreamily in her arms:

“Yes, Sister… I’ll forget…”

Bai Wanting nodded, satisfied.

She truly couldn’t bear even a hint of Lin Qingya’s suffering.

She glanced at the wall clock—the hands pointed to 7:10.

Emmm… they were late.

But…

Bai Wanting looked down at the blank-eyed, obedient girl in her arms…

A bold new plan from last night solidified in her mind.

School was noisy and chaotic, hindering her “education” of Qingya.

With her unstable state now, it was the perfect chance to deepen control…

A scheming smile curved Bai Wanting’s lips.

She pulled out her phone, texting Lin Qingya’s homeroom teacher, Song, with feigned anxiety and concern, requesting a full day’s sick leave.

Song approved quickly—she adored her star student and worried about her health, and she got along well with the new counselor, Bai Wanting.

Bai Wanting then asked the principal for a day off to care for Lin Qingya—the counselor role was flexible, leaving plenty of time for sweet interactions with her darling.

Hanging up, she turned back to her little treasure.

Time for some soul-deep “comfort therapy” for this frightened kitten.

“We’re skipping school today, Qingya.”

Bai Wanting caressed her cheek, whispering seductively in her ear.

“Today, all day… Sister will give you some… special psychological counseling~”
