Chapter 17: Codename “Queen”

“The Association has assigned the mysterious female monster the codename—’Queen’.”

Teacher Lin’s grave voice cut through the chatter.

The classroom fell silent.

Only after a long pause did students grasp: defeat happened; obsessing over Delinquent Girls’ loss was pointless—gather intel on this mystery monster now.

“Teacher Lin, is this the only video? No other angles? Can’t see her face at all!”

“That outfit’s so lewd… shameless…”

Su Tang blushed at comments on her “queen form” attire.

I said—it’s not my choice…

“Great figure, but fake, right?”

“Probably an ugly twisted face!”

Your figure’s fake! Your face ugly!

Oddly fired up.

But codename Queen

Interesting.

Cough cough.

Teacher Lin cleared throat, adjusted glasses, answered first question:

“Battle in residential area—over a dozen nearby cams. Oddly, only this one was running and kept footage.”

“What? Such coincidence?”

“Conspiracy! Someone tampered!”

“Witnesses? No one around?”

“Hard… who stops to watch magical girls vs. monsters now? Just casual monster stomp—boring.”

“Yeah, rush hour—everyone busy.”

“Makes sense…”

Buzzing discussions.

Su Tang exhaled belatedly.

Knew: Evil Doctor rigged it.

Erased other cams, no witnesses—hid her home return. Exposure would’ve doomed her family.

“I didn’t even think of that… too used to civilian life, no monster mindset.”

Su Tang thought, “Lucky Evil Doctor… prepped everything.”

One cam left, capturing back/side—intentional.

“This mysterious monster is announcing her existence.”

Class magical girls stood, serious.

Yes, more than Ningliu—others too.

Su Tang scanned: over ten stood. No impression—likely newbies.

Eyes on them.

“All cams fail but one records this—blatant announcement, demanding attention.”

“She’s declaring war on us magical girls.”

Uproar.

Su Tang frowned.

…Yeah, seems so.

“But don’t worry—plenty strong magical girls. Even if Delinquent seniors lost, others will eliminate her!”

Class magical girls’ pep talk—students pondered, soon optimistic again.

“Right! Believe in magical girls!”

“Delinquent Girls debuted years ago—yet our Ningliu’s Fruit Pie surpassed their record in a month. No wonder they lost!”

“That monster’s arrogant—challenging us! Bet she’s gone in three days, taken out by Association elites!”

Atmosphere soared.

“Yare yare, these guys are easy.”

Ningliu shrugged, “They don’t get it—why freak out? Delinquent Girls were small fry. Overreaction.”

Then to Su Tang: “You’re calm, though.”

“Ahaha…” Su Tang dry laughed.

Not calm—just speechless where to start.

One second: tension, panic, denial of loss.

Next: few magical girl words—boom, fine again. No defending Delinquent Girls—probably shame-pilled, future talk trash.

Ningliu too.

Thought as magical girl, “big news” meant she grasped undefeated streak shattered—gravity.

But now: Delinquent weak, others overreact?

“Ningliu, not scared at all? You called it big news…” Su Tang whispered.

“Haha, zero fear. If I meet her next—my turn to shine.” Ningliu grinned.

Su Tang silent.

Ahh… oddly annoyed.

Before: forum monster picks ignored, mocked—fine.

Now: personally handed magical girls a loss, broke 100% win rate—still no weight?

Didn’t aim for city panic, but them brushing off defeat, blaming Delinquent Girls—uncomfy.

“Anyway, memorize this mystery monster’s traits.”

Teacher Lin said, “Until eliminated, stay safe. See similar attire—evade fast.”

Time up—summary, meeting end.

But Su Tang raised hand: “Teacher, question!”

“Su Tang, what is it?” Teacher Lin looked.

Su Tang paused, asked:

“This ‘Queen’ monster—any link to the last mystery monster who beat a magical girl?”
