Chapter 5:Orc Overlord

Now, the dazzling radiance had dissipated, replaced by an exquisitely beautiful, slender longsword as smooth as a mirror, translucent white, appearing in her right hand.

Star-Forged Sword, Magic Sword · True World.

As long as magic was abundant, it could cleave space; fully unleashed, even sever the future, reverse time.

Of course, the above was in-game description.

Still, Magic Sword · True World remained excellent pay-to-win gear.

One of Rodinia’s rare “unique” bound items—auto-repair, magic amp, growth with binder.

Also, inject massive magic for spatial slash.

Barely restored part of description.

Back then, Alicia prepaid three months’ salary, ate nutrient paste a month for this.

She swung the star-forged sword; starlight slowly scattered, momentarily forming mesmerizing scene.

She completely unnoticed others stunned.

Olga slowed steps, gaze to Alicia full shock surprise.

He long sensed not ordinary, but never this “unordinary”.

Veteran mercenary, vast experience—but mages like Alicia first.

Twenty-plus years military, seen many army mages.

All elite, but needed chants; martial ones strong, none instant like Alicia.

Olga certain no missed details—Alicia’s magic no prelude.

Doubts aside, Olga shelved for now.

Cosette’s escape relieved him, but situation grim.

Alicia’s commotion paused beastmen.

But too few; vanguard alone tough—main force in, fish on board.

Escape joke—plains, two legs outrun four?

Beastmen no breath chance.

With rousing drums, distant array—a tall axe-wielding, unique-armored beastman front; even wolf roar oppressive.

Chaotic beastmen instant silent, then tsunami warcry.

“Galooooon!!!”

Beastman Warlord!

Olga cold sweat—warlords martial elite, lead hundred; far stronger than common—at least he no sure kill.

Warlord appearance, human morale bottom—weak-willed caravan dropped weapons, ready die.

Seeing low morale, Olga deep breath, gripped halberd, faced warlord.

Other mercenaries rose—wounded but gritted, tight line followed captain.

But Alicia faster.

In-game, warlords common elite—gear moves known.

Wounded, but with mercenaries coop, sure kill.

Alicia lowered stance, sole martial activated.

Falling Shadow.

Instant, eyes blurred—Alicia somehow leaped above warlord.

Figure like falling star, [Magic Sword · True World] shone dazzling.

Star-dust glow moment attracted by invisible gravity, condensed on flawless blade, smashed warlord.

Facing sky attack, warlord urged wolf dodge; axe gathered lightning.

“No avail!”

Warlord beast-tongue roared.

Swept thunder axe at Alicia.

Attacks collided—violent explosion dust.

Alicia flickered, landed.

Waiting warlord axe cleaved Alicia.

Nearby Olga heart throat—mage strong magic, but warrior close instant GG.

Warlord knew—yet close to girl, sensed wrong.

Alicia sudden sly grin, figure ghostly—vanished before him, full strike missed.

“Illusion!”

Warlord swept axe front, back jumped defensive, wary scanned; mount sniffed.

Suddenly, warlord felt dragon-stared—every cell exploding.

Instinct screamed—near subconscious dodge.

[Magic Sword · True World] blade silent grazed scalp—hair’s breadth from decap!

But Alicia’s attack continued—crescent air blade sped warlord!

Felt air ripple, no time think—warlord raised axe chest.

“Buzz!”

Buzz like hot knife butter—element-blessed axe cut half, with arm.

“Ah————!!!”

Warlord screamed, survived clutched wound, leaped wolf, fled camp wretched.
