Chapter 0: Prologue
Late at night, the girls’ dormitory was immersed in silence.
Bright moonlight streamed through the narrow gap in the curtains, while all of the roommates had already fallen asleep. Only the occasional rustle of someone turning over or the gentle rhythm of breathing disturbed the stillness.
The entire dorm room seemed wrapped in a thin veil of tranquility.
Time itself appeared to slow, making it impossible to tell how long had passed.
Yet from one of the beds came a noticeable disturbance.
In the past, Bai Ningning had been completely inexperienced.
She had never even properly held hands with another girl, let alone hugged or kissed one.
And now, on the narrow dormitory bed, she found herself pinned beneath a woman.
One of the woman’s slender hands gently stroked her face again and again.
Her delicate fingers were unbelievably smooth and soft.
A sweet fragrance lingered around them, reminding Bai Ningning of a freshly made cream cake.
Just catching that faint scent made her unconsciously swallow.
The woman seemed to notice the subtle movement of her throat and drew her into an even tighter embrace.
Still trapped in sleep, Bai Ningning assumed she was merely dreaming.
She decided to simply enjoy the pleasant dream and let it soothe the stress that had built up over the past few days.
But while savoring the unusually comforting embrace, a thought suddenly surfaced.
‘Could a dream really feel this real?’
As she wondered, an indescribably soft sensation brushed against the corner of her lips.
Only when she felt the gentle pressure against her teeth did she realize something was terribly wrong.
That was not a sensation that belonged in a dream.
Only then did Bai Ningning realize…
Someone had climbed into her bed.
She wanted to resist.
She wanted to push the woman away.
Yet somehow…
Other than her consciousness, she had completely lost control of her body.
Her wrists and ankles had been bound, making escape impossible.
Her entire body felt powerless.
She could not even force her eyes open.
All she could do was passively endure the woman’s increasingly intimate actions.
At that moment, Bai Ningning realized she must have been drugged before going to sleep.
That was the only explanation for why she couldn’t move.
An overwhelming wave of fear flooded her heart.
Even in a four-person dormitory…
Couldn’t this person restrain herself?
Bai Ningning’s emotions were in complete turmoil.
She had believed that remaining in the dormitory, surrounded by other people, would keep her safe.
Yet the woman lying on top of her had still brazenly climbed into her bed.
She desperately twisted her body, trying to break free.
But her wrists and ankles were secured with soft restraints, and every attempt at struggling proved utterly futile.
At that moment, she felt like a helpless lamb awaiting its fate.
No matter how much strength she used, all she could manage were weak, trembling movements.
Rather than stopping the woman, those reactions only seemed to encourage her to become even bolder.
With practiced familiarity, the woman found the buttons of Bai Ningning’s pajamas and began undoing them one by one.
Sensing the growing danger, Bai Ningning struggled with all the strength she could muster.
Her sudden resistance immediately caught the woman’s attention.
‘She’s awake already?’
As Bai Ningning fought desperately, she gradually regained control over parts of her body.
Panicking, she tried with all her might to open her eyes and identify the woman who had climbed into her bed.
The instant she managed to open them, darkness enveloped her vision.
A blindfold had been placed over her eyes.
She tried to question the intruder.
Instead, a piece of cloth carrying a faint fragrance was stuffed into her mouth.
The only sound she could produce was a muffled whimper.
Seeing that Bai Ningning could neither escape nor recognize her, the woman leaned over her once more.
This time, her actions became even more brazen, as though she had no concern whatsoever about being discovered by the other roommates.
With practiced fingers, she quickly undid the remaining buttons of Bai Ningning’s sleepwear before her hands moved lower.
Realizing what the woman intended to do next, Bai Ningning could no longer hold back her tears.
They streamed silently down her cheeks.
Her heart filled with resentment toward the world…
And even more toward her past self.
Bai Ningning was the name she bore in this world.
As for her original name…
It no longer mattered.
Because she could never return.
In her previous life, Bai Ningning had been a game developer.
And the world she now inhabited was the very game she had been creating.
Although the game had yet to be released, before her transmigration she had already completed the story outline and finalized every character profile.
The only thing left was drawing the character illustrations.
While rushing to finish the heroine’s concept art at her workstation, she had accidentally fallen asleep.
When she opened her eyes again, she discovered that she had entered the world she herself had created…
And had become the game’s protagonist.
The story of this game world was actually quite simple.
It revolved around Bai Ningning, the heroine, and the various ambiguous relationships she would develop with her three beautiful college roommates.
It could be summarized in a single sentence.
But Bai Ningning knew better than anyone what kind of game she had created.
To satisfy her own twisted sense of humor, she had designed all three of her roommates to be people with deeply obsessive and abnormal personalities…
The point in time when Bai Ningning transmigrated into this world happened to be the very beginning of the story.
The heroine had just entered university, and the relationships between everyone were still a blank slate.
She believed she still had the chance to change everything.
Even if all three of her roommates had been written as emotionally unstable, as long as none of them fell in love with her…
Then none of the events she had written into the story would ever come to pass.
During the first few days after arriving in this world, Bai Ningning had very little interaction with her three roommates.
She had deliberately portrayed herself as a gloomy, reclusive otaku girl, doing everything she could to make herself unpopular.
Yet despite all of that…
She was still targeted.
While desperately searching through everything that had happened since her arrival, trying to figure out which of the three roommates was currently on top of her…
A sudden cool sensation against her skin snapped all of her thoughts back to reality.
In that instant, Bai Ningning truly panicked.
She wanted to cry for help.
She wanted to wake the other roommates.
But the woman restraining her was far too cautious.
Even after stuffing a fragrant piece of cloth into Bai Ningning’s mouth, she still firmly covered it with one hand, leaving her unable to make even the faintest sound for help.
Bai Ningning’s face had turned deathly pale.
The bedsheets beneath her had become hopelessly tangled from all of her struggling.
At that moment, Bai Ningning made up her mind.
Her bound hands clenched tightly into fists.
She tilted her head back, biting down hard on the cloth in her mouth.
Her delicate jawline was fully exposed.
Even her pale arms, bound above her head, had become taut from the sudden exertion.
The next second, Bai Ningning gathered every ounce of strength she had left.
She violently threw her head upward, slamming it directly into the woman pinning her down.
“Bang!”
The dull sound of their heads colliding echoed through the silent dormitory.
Bai Ningning had believed that making such a loud noise would force the woman to retreat.
Instead, a handkerchief carrying a strange, intoxicating fragrance was pressed tightly over her nose.
The consciousness she had only just managed to recover began to blur once again…
Her eyelids grew heavier and heavier.
The strength she had painstakingly regained drained away little by little.
Her final act of resistance dissolved into darkness.
Soon, nothing remained but the quiet breathing that once again filled the silent dormitory.
