Chapter 10: A Clever Disguise and a Sister’s Tease
“Ugh… this is too much.”
Luo Su’s cheeks flushed as she clumsily slipped on her essential “armor,” slowly tugging at the little dress and carefully spinning in place.
It still felt a bit breezy, but at least it was better than the totally exposed feeling from before.
She rubbed her smooth tummy.
Oddly, despite it being nearly noon, Luo Su only felt a faint, barely noticeable hunger. “So… I’m not hungry because I absorbed that ‘special’ energy?!”
This terrifying realization
Left her little head in a daze.
She should’ve known. Succubus, right? That kind of thing was normal… but, but… ugh, she used to be a tough guy! How could she… do that.
“Wait.”
“I could absorb Jiang Ning’s.”
Luo Su’s eyes lit up, her gloom swept away, even feeling a tiny spark of excitement, her little tiger teeth peeking out. “This is… returning the favor?”
Right now, with Jiang Ning,
She felt zero guilt.
After all, her first time was snatched away so carelessly… Getting revenge was only fair, right?
“Hmph~”
Her little tail drew a happy circle. Luo Su was brimming with determination. “Next time we meet, I’ll make that female thug cry for mercy!”
Last night,
She’d learned plenty of… useful knowledge! As for how she learned it… well, practice makes perfect, obviously!
One little failure.
She didn’t care at all, so she definitely, absolutely wouldn’t dwell on it!
“Phew…”
Taking a deep breath,
Luo Su sat at the desk, propping her cheek and gazing out the window. “It’s already noon…”
The clear blue sky held a few cotton candy clouds, the breeze rustling through the treetops with a soft whisper.
Perfect weather for scamming free food!
Humming, Luo Su bounced to the bedside table, pulling out a roll of transparent tape. She tilted her head, thinking, then carefully tore off a piece—
“Hey!”
She lifted her slender black tail, taping it to her back, then slung on her sister’s old mini pink backpack.
Turning to the mirror, her eyes sparkled. “Perfect~” This way, she could use her cute look to snag free samples at the mall and save magic on maintaining her form!
Her genius couldn’t be contained!
“Let’s go—!”
Luo Su spun happily, the backpack’s trinkets jingling. Who’d have thought Jiang Ning’s antics leading to skipping class would score her a surprise half-day off~
This was a total win!
…
“What’s with you?”
Jiang Cha lounged on the sofa, her little dragon onesie hood drooping. Rubbing sleepy eyes, she looked at her sister—
“N-nothing.”
Jiang Ning chugged her water, steam rising as her flushed face peeked through, her lashes damp and drooping.
“Really?” Jiang Cha didn’t buy it.
“…”
After a pause, Jiang Ning hung her head, mumbling, “Sis, I… I think I messed up…”
“Heh.”
Jiang Cha wasn’t convinced. Jiang Ning’s room was right behind hers—she knew her little sister hadn’t left all night.
“For real!”
“Alright, alright, messed up.”
Jiang Cha blinked innocently, teasing, “Let me guess, you didn’t go and force yourself on the girl you like, did you~”
“!!!” Jiang Ning’s face turned grim.
“???” Jiang Cha froze, whispering cautiously, “You… didn’t actually do that, right?”
“I-I…” Jiang Ning said guiltily, “Maybe did it once…” She hadn’t expected Su Xi to… trick her like that, so… she went a bit hard…
By the time she realized, she couldn’t stop.
“Holy sht!”
Jiang Cha shot up from the sofa, then lowered her voice. “And… did she have any weird reactions?”
“She… squirmed a lot?”
“…”
Jiang Cha pursed her lips innocently. Her sister… actually remembered that in a situation like that? Wild.
But kinda fun!
“Chill, chill~” She leaned in with a sly grin. “No scolding, no biting—means she actually…”
She dragged out the suggestive tone.
“Really?!” Jiang Ning’s eyes lit up.
“Of course. Come on, let’s hit the mall.” Jiang Cha sighed. How would she know? But her gullible sister was so easy to fool… Was this what falling in love did?!
Scary… yet oddly fascinating.
“Okay!” Jiang Ning nodded, darting to her room. “I-I’ll get ready!”
“Slow down!”
Jiang Cha licked her lips, a mischievous glint in her eyes. If Dad found out both his daughters liked girls…
That’d be a riot.
Just imagining his mustache bristling made her giddy~ Heh heh.
Jiang Ning, face red, shut her door, leaning against it. She scanned her girly room… designed by her sister, not because she liked it!
No, that wasn’t the point…
This morning,
She’d found Su Xi… left behind a jacket!
Her fingers trembled as she lifted the jacket from the bed’s corner, not hers. In the morning light, the kaleidoscope pattern shimmered faintly…
“So… Luo Su is Su Xi?!”
“But… so weird.”
Jiang Ning’s head was foggy. How could a boy turn into a girl… Cross-dressing? No, the little one wasn’t that tall.
But if she was a succubus…
That made sense!
Jiang Ning’s lips curled uncontrollably as she dialed her front-desk classmate.
“As expected…”
“Luo Su didn’t come to school today~”
Hanging up, the puzzle pieces clicked into place. Her heart started pounding like a drum—the little liar really existed in the real world!
She thought…
They’d only ever meet in dreams.
Thrilled, she dove into her blankets, burying her burning face. The sheets still held last night’s minty candy scent, like clear sugar in sunlight.
“Tomorrow, I’m definitely…”
“Calling out that little liar in person!”
Humming, Jiang Ning skipped to her closet. Sure enough, the childhood dress she treasured… was gone with someone*.
Caught red-handed~
Standing before the mirror, Jiang Ning spun lightly.
Her fresh white dress bloomed like a camellia, swaying softly with her movements.
She parted her dark hair into three sections—two thin side strands tied with white ribbons, the thick middle one bound with a black satin bow.
“Really…”
Her fingers brushed the bow’s folds, the girl in the mirror smiling unconsciously. “Can’t wait~”
Luo Su… or rather, Su Xi!
