Chapter 15: I don’t want to be scumbag by you

A Stunning Intrusion

“Hi~”

Su Keke peeked into the dorm, her sweet smile and playful wave stunning all four guys.

Lin Lu was spooked by her breaking her promise to stay out.
The other three rubbed their eyes, doubting their sanity.
Was “Miss Keke” really in their dorm, or were they hallucinating from too much… exertion?

“What’s this about tanks and cheating?”

Su Keke sauntered in, hands behind her back, her radiant charm lighting up the dingy dorm, even masking its smell.

Lin Lu shot her glares to stay out, but she ignored him, standing gracefully before them, making the room glow.

His roommates, who’d jokingly claimed to be her “dogs,” clammed up in her presence.
When her gaze landed on Fatty, he trembled, lips quivering, her star aura and subtly dangerous vibe overwhelming him.

Fatty stammered, “W-We were just saying our roommate got paired with someone… maybe a tank…”

He glanced at Skinny Dog and Keyboard Sage for help, but they’d switched to studying—English vocab and classic literature.

“Then we suggested he could cheat to break it off…”

Lin Lu had enough, stepping forward to shoo her out.
“Miss, wrong dorm.
We’re hitting the lights—no spare beds.”

A Bold Move

Su Keke grabbed his arm, snuggling close, head on his shoulder, and asked the others, “Do I look like a tank?
Or am I too ugly for him, so he’d rather cheat and go to jail?”

The room froze, air molecules still.

What the hell?
Lin Lu couldn’t fathom her game.
This stunt hurt her more—she was a celebrity!
Didn’t she know the gossip storm this’d spark?
Her agent, Wang Jie, would be sleepless for real.

Her offer to drive him was suspicious from the start.

“Miss Keke… you’re really Fourth’s match?”
His roommates were still in a dream.

“Yup~”

No way, she’s serious!

That morning, Lin Lu had joked about being paired with Miss Keke, and they’d laughed it off.
Now it was real.

They looked to Lin Lu for confirmation.
He wanted to deny it, but a pinch at his waist and her threatening hum—“I’ll~kill~you~”—changed his mind.

He nodded.
Three hearts shattered.

A New Dynamic

“Since you call Lin Lu ‘Fourth,’ I guess I’m your sister-in-law now.
Nice to meet you.”
Su Keke’s polite smile held no celebrity airs—she was just their age, with a star’s title.

They waved it off.
“No, no, we’ll call you Senior Su.
You’re from Tianhai Music Academy, right?”

Lin Lu just learned this—their schools were a street apart, way too close for comfort.

No use fighting it.
He resumed packing, half-done since he’d left for the freshman assembly.

Su Keke, who’d insisted on helping, was now gifting his roommates trinkets from her bag, whispering with them, sneaking glances at him.

A Staged Affection

“Lin Lu, stand up.”

Mid-packing, shoving clothes into his suitcase, Su Keke pulled him up, clinging to his arm, nestling against his chest like a smitten bird.

Was she in heat, desperate for any guy?

Her bizarre antics threw him back to their dating days.

“You’re not helping, just making trouble…”

She glanced up slyly, eyes glinting, then darted back to Fatty, who was typing furiously on his phone.

A Viral Mishap

Something felt off.
Lin Lu dropped his clothes, stumbled over his suitcase, and snatched Fatty’s phone.
The campus forum was open—a post from ten seconds ago.
A photo of Su Keke clinging to his arm, titled:

Shock! My Roommate’s Match Is Miss Keke!

Lin Lu tried to delete it, but Su Keke grabbed the phone, locking it.

“Seriously, Su Keke, you on drugs tonight?!”
Clearly, she’d egged Fatty on.

“I’m not worried, why are you?”

She crossed her arms, miffed.
Did he think her photo with him was embarrassing?
Sure, he was handsome, but was she ugly?

“I’m fine—I’m just a nobody student.
It might even boost my rep, dating a star.
But your career!
Don’t you care?”

He’d seen her grind for years to build her success.
He couldn’t bear her throwing it away.

Though they’d hurt each other as exes, he wasn’t petty enough to wish them ill.
Seeing Yi Dian Dian overcome her fears warmed him; he felt the same for Su Keke.

His concern softened her, but she griped, “It’s your fault, you lousy playboy.
I can’t trust you not to cheat again.
I won’t be humiliated with another betrayal!”
