Chapter 15: Well done
Lin Xiaoxiao’s eyes widened at Zhou Ting’s words, but she couldn’t argue back.
Today, no matter what, she was determined to make this man agree to her small condition!
Gathering her courage, she said, “If… if you don’t agree, I won’t cooperate anymore! You wouldn’t want to sleep with a lifeless puppet, would you?”
Zhou Ting, surprised by the girl in his arms, raised an eyebrow. Not bad—she’d learned to make threats.
He chuckled, his hand slipping to her slender waist beneath her clothes, his tone casual. “Oh? You’d really do that? Shall we test it here, then? See if I’m interested in that version of you?”
Lin Xiaoxiao was shocked by his wicked words. Here? In the office, where anyone could walk in…
Panic flashed in her eyes as his roving hand began its mischief.
Desperate, she pressed her hand over his through her thin shirt, exasperated. “No, not here…”
Zhou Ting laughed lightly, teasing, “Holding my hand like that—can’t bear to let me go?”
Her chest heaved with frustration. Was this man unreasonable? He was the one misbehaving, yet he turned it on her!
“F-fine, I’ll let go, but you can’t keep moving… take it out now…”
Zhou Ting didn’t respond, his silence saying he wasn’t done playing.
Lin Xiaoxiao felt helpless.
Just as she thought they’d be stuck in a stalemate, a knock came at the office door.
Her heart leapt in panic. If someone saw her like this, how could she face anyone?
She could only plead with her eyes, her gaze unintentionally alluring.
Zhou Ting’s heart itched. Without hesitation, he pushed her under the desk.
He sat in his chair, calmly shielding her small frame.
The secretary entered, holding documents for signing.
“Mr. Zhou, sorry to interrupt. How’s your talk with that young lady going?”
Curious and puzzled, the secretary wondered where the short-haired girl had gone—he hadn’t seen her leave.
Zhou Ting coughed. “Mind your business. Bring the files.”
The secretary nodded quickly, placing the documents on the desk. “These need your signature; those need review.”
Zhou Ting nodded, not dismissing him. The secretary stood awkwardly, sensing the odd atmosphere.
Meanwhile, under the desk, Lin Xiaoxiao realized what had happened.
Why did he shove her down here? She wasn’t some shameful secret.
She’d walked in through the front door—hiding like this made her seem like a cheating lover. Wouldn’t her absence raise more suspicion?
But crawling out now would only make things worse.
Humiliated, she endured, listening to Zhou Ting’s calm conversation with the secretary, her teeth itching with anger.
She’d misjudged him—this seemingly proper man was a shameless jerk!
She thought she just had to wait it out, but reality slapped her hard.
His hand pressed her head, guiding her in a certain direction…
From years of reading, Lin Xiaoxiao instantly knew what he wanted. Her face burned, whether from anger or shame.
She struggled, refusing to comply.
Even for a woman, this act was hard to accept—let alone for her, a woman with a man’s soul.
To Lin Xiaoxiao, it was disgusting, unhygienic, and utterly humiliating…
Zhou Ting felt her resistance but remained calm, typing a message on his phone and subtly placing it on his lap.
Lin Xiaoxiao saw his movement, stunned. Reading the words, her羞愤 surged.
She wanted to smash his phone! But her remaining rationality stopped her.
Staring at those seemingly hypnotic words, she hesitated, then closed her eyes in despair, letting his hand guide her head down…
Life was a series of choices, forced or willing.
For a slightly easier life ahead, Lin Xiaoxiao had to submit.

After a long while, Zhou Ting dismissed the secretary. As the door closed, his lips curved into a smirk.
Looking down, he saw the girl sprawled on the floor, her face pained, gagging while covering her mouth.
He helped her up, handing her a tissue, his voice magnetic. “You did well. Don’t worry, I’ll ease up in the future.”
Lin Xiaoxiao glared, taking the tissue, her eyes red-rimmed.
Soon after leaving his company, she breathed a sigh of relief.
On the way out, she felt the employees’ gazes carried strange looks.
She knew she was overthinking—rumors couldn’t spread that fast.
On the bus to campus, she stared out at the passing skyscrapers, lost in thought.
Reflecting on her actions, she gave a self-mocking smile. She was despicable, dirty, and pathetic…
At school, she headed for the bathroom but ran into someone she didn’t want to see.
Wang Shanshan looked at the “boy,” her eyes complex, thinking of what her friend had told her.
“Heard your grandma’s condition got worse?”
Lin Xiaoxiao didn’t answer, saying flatly, “That’s none of your business, is it?”
To this childhood friend, she felt only estrangement.
At some point, Wang Shanshan had become unrecognizable.
But then again, hadn’t Lin Xiaoxiao become a stranger to herself too?
