Chapter 16 : Xiaoya, you smell so good

What should I choose…

Qianya pondered.

If this were a galgame, she would definitely try every route one by one.

But there’s no save button in real life (annoyed).

Go to Vivian? That “sleep-aid” black tea felt super suspicious…

Go to Zero? Emm… she really wanted to mooch food and drinks, but if Iris found out she ditched her for seafood, she’d definitely get zapped X﹏X.

And then there’s Iris, and Luko…

“Nn, no no no (˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ ) I can’t keep agonizing like this!”

Qianya slapped her own cheeks and suddenly had an idea.

If she couldn’t decide, then she’d just take them all 「(゚ペ)

She decisively tapped option E in front of her, and the other choices instantly vanished.

【Qianya-chan… are you trying to become a time-management master?】

Flo teased.

Qianya: Ah, right (°ー°〃)

Time was limited… there’s no way she could handle all four at once ( )

Qianya: Then I’ll prioritize! I can probably pull it off… maybe (´-﹏-`;)

Among the four girls, the one Qianya needed to fix things with the most right now was…

“It has to be Luko-chan.” Qianya glanced at Luko’s tightly shut door.

Luko was still mad at her.

So first fix things with Luko, then deal with the others!

“That’s the plan (◦`~´◦)”

Qianya turned and headed into the kitchen.

She had brought Luko milk tea and little cakes before, and she loved them. It should work again this time.

♡♡♡

Five minutes later, Qianya carried milk tea and desserts to Luko’s door.

“Luko? You in? I brought you milk tea. Can you open the door?”

She knocked lightly.

The room was completely silent—no response.

“Nn…”

Qianya felt a little down, about to knock again, when her fingertips felt the door shift slightly.

The deadbolt had quietly unlatched (゚ロ゚)!!

Qianya instantly understood Luko’s little scheme.

Qianya: This kid… she actually wanted me to come find her all along (´▽`)

She just couldn’t bring herself to say it directly and wanted Qianya to come in, so she secretly unlocked the door.

Qianya: Hehe, at times like this („ಡωಡ„)

Qianya deliberately stepped back two paces, raised her voice, and pretended to leave.

“Sigh, looks like Luko-chan is still mad at me. Guess I’ll have to take the milk tea and cake to Vivian and the others…”

She sighed, turned, and started walking away.

But she hadn’t gone two steps when the door creaked open.

Luko stood there hugging her dragon plushie, pink hair a mess, looking both adorable and panicked.

“W-Wait, Xiao Ya (>д<)”

“Hm? Didn’t Luko-chan say she was angry and didn’t want to talk to me?” Qianya teased, but held the milk tea out toward her.

Luko’s cheeks instantly flushed. She snatched the milk tea and turned back into the room.

“I-I’m definitely still angry! Nn… I’m just thirsty, that’s all! If Xiao Ya really wants to come in… I guess it’s not impossible (´^`)”

Her voice got quieter toward the end.

Qianya: Classic tsundere ( ´▽´ )

Qianya smiled and followed her in, closing the door behind her.

♡♡♡

Still the familiar pink room, bed piled high with stuffed animals.

Luko sat on the edge of the bed, sipping the milk tea in small mouthfuls. Qianya’s milk tea was super sweet—just the way she liked it.

Luko narrowed her eyes in bliss as she drank.

“Good?” Qianya asked, sitting beside her.

“I-It’s okay.”

Even though she answered Qianya, Luko still pouted, cheeks puffed out, looking very much “I’m still mad.”

Qianya watched her puffed-up cheeks—so much like an angry little bun.

She couldn’t resist reaching out and poking Luko’s cheek.

“Okay, okay, I’m really sorry, Luko-chan. I know I was wrong. I shouldn’t have stood you up that day. It’s just that Vivian had plans and forgot to tell you…”

Luko’s eyelids fluttered. She asked,

“W-What about the slave mark then…”

“About the slave mark… I’ve been thinking about it seriously. Suddenly asking Luko-chan to do something like that must have felt really unsafe, right? So no rush. We can take it slow~”

Qianya did her best to smile and smooth things over.

Qianya: Damn it, all Vivian’s fault (`Δ´)

Everything had been going smoothly convincing Luko to remove the mark until she swooped in and ruined it. Now Qianya had to coax Luko all over again and come up with new excuses…

Workload suddenly doubled QAQ

But there was good news—Luko was really easy to coax (ˊ˘ˋ)

After hearing Qianya’s words, Luko paused mid-sip.

The little dragon girl mumbled,

“I wasn’t angry…”

But her ears turned bright red—she was totally lying.

Qianya knew her personality well. She just needed a way to save face.

So Qianya suddenly reached out and tickled Luko’s waist.

“Liar, liar~ Luko-chan ignored me all day and says she wasn’t mad? Tickle tickle~”

“Kyaa haha… Xiao Ya, stop ˃ʍ˂”

Qianya knew Luko was super ticklish.

Luko almost spilled her milk tea.

After safely setting the cup down, Luko fought back, reaching to tickle Qianya.

“Bad Xiao Ya, take this (˃ ⌑ ˂ഃ )”

The two girls rolled around on the bed, giggling and wrestling.

After a while of playing…

Luko: “Ah… Xiao Ya?”

Both of their clothes had gotten messy.

And somehow, Luko had ended up straddling Qianya.

“U-Um, Luko-chan (〃﹏〃)”

Qianya, lying beneath her, could clearly see Luko’s flushed cheeks and those sparkling golden eyes reflecting her own face.

Luko’s hands had somehow landed on Qianya’s two little buns.

“Isn’t this… a little weird…” Qianya’s voice trembled.

“Xiao Ya…”

Luko seemed to realize something too. Her face grew even redder, but she didn’t move her hands. Instead, she slowly leaned down.

“Xiao Ya… you’re so cute… you smell so nice…”

As she leaned in, Luko’s warm breath, sweet with milk tea, brushed against Qianya’s lips.

Qianya: Uwaaah (〃д〃)

What is happening…?

This didn’t feel right. Was Luko about to kiss her?!

By the time Qianya reacted, Luko already had her pinned.

“L-Luko-chan, nooo X€”X”
