Chapter 18: is coming!

For some reason, she felt an ominous “Danger” sign hovering above her head.

Does this guy really know everything?
Xie Qiyang’s heart churned with suspicion.

“Frost, don’t you want to restore your cultivation quickly?”
Li Tianxing’s voice carried a devilish allure, instantly grabbing her attention.

Her ice-blue eyes sparkled, lashes fluttering, her face full of disbelief.

“The way to restore my cultivation… isn’t that, is it?”
After a moment, Xie Qiyang seemed to realize something, quietly stifling her inner glee.

“No need.”

“I knew it… wait, no need?”
She didn’t quite trust he’d be so kind.
She was braced for him to say, “You don’t want to be a mortal forever, do you?”

But he said no need?
Why was he suddenly so nice?

“We just need a kiss.
The Solar Essence Blood is in my mouth right now.
All you need to do is take the initiative to kiss me, swallow the essence blood, and it’ll break the seal on its own.
Your Lunar Saint Body might even grow stronger than before.”

“But I’ll be on guard, so the chance is in your hands.”

As expected, Xie Qiyang’s face darkened.

Li Tianxing closed his eyes, his smug expression openly revealing his intent to boil the frog slowly.

She could only grit her teeth and endure.

Just a kiss, just a kiss, she reassured herself.

Turning, she straddled his lap, staring at his strikingly handsome face.
She tried to imagine him as a curvaceous, stunningly cold fairy throwing herself into her arms.

Here goes…!

“Mmph!”
The moment their lips met, she let out a muffled groan.
A far more violent, uncontrollable energy surged into her body, rampaging through her meridians, causing unbearable pain.

She instinctively tried to pull back, but Li Tianxing, with no regard for chivalry, wrapped his arms around her slender waist, pulling her closer.

“Mm! (Let go!) Mmmph! (Please!)”
Unable to speak, her eyes blinked desperately, pleading through muffled whimpers, but his assault didn’t slow.

Caught in a pincer attack, she was losing ground fast.

Li Tianxing held her waist tightly, and as she tried to push his wandering hands away, their bodies tangled, their warmth mingling.

As if her imagination came to life, Xie Qiyang felt like she was in the embrace of a warm, jade-like, slender figure, with a faint fragrance wafting.

Her mind conjured a goddess replacing Li Tianxing—clad in golden armor, like a deity descended.

Her flawless skin, set against the gold, exuded an indescribable aura—both seductive like a enchantress and sacred like a goddess, blending two opposing charms.

Xie Qiyang’s resistance softened.
From outright refusal, it turned into a hesitant push-and-pull, her weak struggles more like a catalyst igniting his desire.

Externally, Li Tianxing was conquering relentlessly, her will to resist shrinking.
Internally, his Solar Power rampaged through her body.

Caught between both fronts, or losing both, Xie Qiyang gave in, immersing herself in his actions, ignoring the chaos within her body.
She didn’t understand it, and the memories offered no clarity—he’d handle it.

She had to admit, he knew this body well.
Each move sent shivers through her soul.

After the storm, a long calm settled.

In the corner of the tent, on the straw pile, Xie Qiyang curled up like a tattered leaf ravaged by a tempest.

Exhaustion seeped into every bone, every muscle.

Lifting a finger felt like draining her entire strength.
Her consciousness was heavy, foggy.

Her cheeks flushed, fine sweat beading at her hairline, nose, and neck.

Sweat soaked her disheveled silver hair, sticking to her burning forehead and flushed cheeks.
Her once ice-blue eyes, clear as a frozen sea, were now veiled with mist, unfocused, pupils slightly dilated.

Her clothes remained intact, but her mind was riddled with holes from the storm.

“Just a kiss, and I’m like this? If he keeps boiling me slowly, I might actually fall…”
She murmured, too dazed to care about her Lunar Saint Body or cultivation.
The afterglow lingered in her mind.

Following the principle that if no one knows, it didn’t happen, she “reluctantly” savored the lingering sensation.

Suddenly, the dim tent brightened.

Li Tianxing’s tall figure appeared at the entrance, blocking most of the outside light, casting a heavy shadow.

He held a rough clay bowl, steam rising from it, the rich aroma of meat overpowering the tent’s leather and straw scent.

He approached and crouched beside her without a word.

Startled by his sudden closeness, Xie Qiyang stiffened.
“Don’t… don’t come closer, I can’t take it…”

Her unfocused eyes sharpened, her arms wrapping around her chest as she stared warily at him and the steaming bowl.
She instinctively tried to shrink further into the corner, avoiding his proximity.

Li Tianxing ignored her caution, his brows furrowing almost imperceptibly.

“Frost, hungry?”

He reached out with his free hand, his movements now strangely steady.
His rough fingers gently supported her neck, lifting her limp head slightly.

Then, he brought the scalding meat soup to her lips.

The bowl’s edge grazed her cracked lips, bringing a faint burn.
The rich, fishy aroma of beast meat mixed with the bitter tang of spirit herb roots invaded her nose.

“Hm, smells… kinda good?”
Despite vowing silence, Xie Qiyang caved to the temptation of food.

It seemed no different from last time, so why did it smell so enticing now?

“Drink.”
Li Tianxing’s voice was gentler, clearly pleased with her earlier compliance.

“Frost, your body’s drained.
This soup has herbs to nourish your vitality.
It’ll make you feel better.”

“A few more times, and your cultivation will recover soon.”

His movements were tender, holding the bowl steady to avoid spilling or burning her, tilting it just enough for the warm broth to touch her lips, making it easy to sip.

His other hand, supporting her neck, maintained a steady grip, propping up her weak body.

Xie Qiyang parted her cracked lips slightly.

The warm broth flowed into her mouth.
Its flavor was intense, a mix of fishiness and bitter herbs—not delicious compared to her past life’s meals.

But for the exhausted her now, it was a divine feast.

The bowl finally emptied.
