Chapter 28: Unexpected Rescue.

The motorcycle sped off without stopping.

The woman in leopard-print stockings pinched Lu Zhao’s face.

“What? Thinking of calling for help? Haha, no way that’s happening.”

Lifting his chin, she studied him closely.

“Sly little brother, tonight you’re going to behave and serve us, got it? Hmm?”

Lu Zhao’s calm demeanor raised a flicker of suspicion, but the alcohol and her fantasies about what was to come quickly drowned it out.

The two women holding him rubbed against him shamelessly, touching places they should and shouldn’t.

But Lu Zhao wasn’t focused on that.
The flash of wine-red hair felt familiar, though he couldn’t place where he’d seen it.

After thinking it over, a wry smile crossed his lips.

What did it matter if he remembered? Would it help him? They’d probably just join in.

Lu Zhao had no doubt about his appeal in these women’s eyes.

After about half an hour, they brought him to a rented apartment.

The place was a mess—clothes, underwear, and stockings strewn everywhere.

The smell wasn’t bad, but the heavy mix of perfume and stale mold made him queasy.

“You two watch him. Touch him if you want, but I’m first, got it?”

The leopard-print woman nonchalantly stripped off her tight skirt, heading to the bathroom in just her underwear and black stockings.

Her faintly visible muscle lines confirmed she’d indeed been on the school track team.

Having given up resisting, Lu Zhao had the leisure to notice these details.

The other two pushed him onto a sofa covered in underwear and stockings, their four hands roaming his body.

One woman widened her eyes, signaling the other to look down.

“!”

“We… really hit the jackpot. Just one night?”

“Maybe… two nights wouldn’t hurt? What do you think, little brother?”

No way. I don’t even want one night here.

He thought it but didn’t say it.
“Sisters, can you let me go? If I don’t get back, my family might call the police.”

The “Nightclub Juicer” tapped his forehead.
“Little brother, you’re lying. It’s two in the morning, and you’re out here. I’d believe you if you said they’d call tomorrow, but tonight? Heh.”

These women had some brains, huh? Fine, just bad luck, like being pinned by ghosts.

Seeing him quiet, their hands grew bolder.

One woman grabbed a stocking from the sofa, pulled his hands behind it, and tied them.

The other unbuttoned her top, eyeing his toned physique with obsession.

Her gaze traveled down, lingering, her hands brushing his chest, moving lower.

It wasn’t clear through his pants.

Just as she was about to touch, knock knock knock—the door.

The two women exchanged a glance.

“Who’s that?”

“Yeah, who’d come at this hour?”

“Hehehe~”

A cheerful voice came from the bathroom, singing an unknown tune.

What luck tonight, snagging such a prime guy. I’m gonna have some fun.

Maybe if I make him feel good, he won’t want to leave. Then life won’t be so boring.

She was already imagining Lu Zhao moaning beneath her.

The more she thought, the hotter she felt, too eager to wait.
She quickly rinsed off, wrapped a towel around herself, and stepped out.

But the sight before her stunned her.

Her two companions were gone.
On the now-tidied sofa sat a woman who looked out of place in the messy room.

A deep red velvet dress hugged her curvaceous figure.

Wine-red wavy hair cascaded over her shoulders, covering one eye, but it couldn’t hide her striking beauty.

Ten-centimeter stilettos rested on the edge of the coffee table, the slit in her dress revealing honey-toned thighs, dark patterned stockings leaving a faint mark above her knees.

She stubbed out her cigarette in the ashtray, her diamond-studded silver bracelet clinking metallically, her crossed legs swaying rhythmically.

Two tall women in sunglasses stood behind the sofa.

And the guy they’d picked up was sitting beside her.

“You—who are you? What are you doing in my house? I’ll call the police!”

Her voice trembled as she spoke.

The scene was clear.
This guy was likely this woman’s man, and she… had made a huge mistake.

The red-haired woman was, of course, Zhao Rong.

She came home this way every night, passing that coastal road.

Lu Zhao had glimpsed her, and she’d seen him too.

She remembered this young guy who’d helped her close a big deal.

Given the time, place, and those three women’s state, something was clearly wrong.

She didn’t approach right away—what if he was working another gig? She didn’t want to ruin his business.

She followed quietly, confirming her suspicions.

After calling for backup, she knocked and entered.

Breaking in was illegal and disturbed the neighbors.

In her line of work, she knew the law better than a law student.

Zhao Rong didn’t even lift her eyes.
“Call the police? Sure, let’s see who they’d arrest. Kidnapping—no, abduction, restricting personal freedom, attempted assault… or maybe it’s already happened.”

Lu Zhao turned to argue it hadn’t, but Zhao Rong pushed his head back.

“…” This woman’s strength was unreal.

With each word, the leopard-print woman’s legs weakened, until she slid down the bathroom door to the floor.

Seeing her crumble so easily, Zhao Rong didn’t bother getting physical.

She pulled Lu Zhao up and headed out.

At the door, she gave her subordinate a look and closed it behind her.

Downstairs, Lu Zhao glanced up instinctively.

“Sister Rong, isn’t that a bit much? If someone dies, it’s trouble.”

Zhao Rong wagged a finger at him.
“Little Lu, don’t talk nonsense. Killing’s illegal. I’m just teaching them a small lesson. As long as we don’t touch them, it’s not our problem.”

Upstairs.

“Go, beat her. Hard.”

The three terrified women didn’t dare disobey, tumbling into a chaotic brawl.

Zhao Rong swung her leg over her motorcycle, the dress riding up to reveal the soft flesh above her stockings.

But Lu Zhao wasn’t focused on that.

“Sister Rong, stilettos? Is that really okay?”

She rolled her eyes.
“Just say if you’re getting on or not. If not, walk back.”

“I’m getting on, I’m getting on. Thanks, Sister Rong.”

Lu Zhao now had a trauma about walking at night.

“Hop on. No one’s ever sat on my back seat. Feel honored.”

Zhao Rong flashed a bold, carefree grin.

What a free-spirited sister, Lu Zhao couldn’t help but think.
