Chapter 29: Friendship with female doctoral dormitories
Zhuang Yanyue’s Proposal
“So, what’s your decision?” Zhuang Yanyue’s finger lightly tapped Lin Lu’s chest.
“I’m putting in both effort and myself. It’s all benefits for you, no downsides.”
“But Pleasant Sister, this means you’d have to do that with me, and it’d need to be recorded. Are you really willing to make such a sacrifice?”
Lin Lu couldn’t wrap his head around it.
Why would Zhuang Yanyue, who hated him, go this far to help him, even at the cost of her own chastity?
“We’re childhood friends, aren’t we? I can’t bear to see you stuck living with Su Keke, tortured by her revenge.”
She paused, her eyes turning seductive as her finger traced circles on his chest.
“And how do you know your sister doesn’t want it? These years without you, Little Lu, I’ve been awfully lonely…”
With such a mature, alluring body in his arms and her sultry voice teasing him, Lin Lu’s primal instincts struggled to stay in check.
But his rational mind still held the high ground, racing with suspicion.
Helping him without holding a grudge, even freeing Su Keke from her scumbag ex?
Was there really such a perfect deal?
It felt like she had an ulterior motive.
“Let’s talk later… If you really want to help, approve my tuition loan through the green channel first.”
“If I approved it so easily, would you still listen to your sister? Don’t think I don’t know why you’re scared of me now.”
Zhuang Yanyue shifted her hips slightly, aligning perfectly with that spot.
“Of course I’d listen! From childhood till now, I’ve always listened to you, Pleasant Sister.”
Besides the tuition loan, she had plenty of ways to keep him in line for the next four years.
How could he not listen?
“That’s more like it… I’ll approve the loan, but in a few days, you’re taking me to your shared home.”
A Suspicious Request
Her request caught Lin Lu off guard and made him wary.
“What for? It’s just a small place, nothing to see…”
“Good little brothers don’t ask so many questions. Just take me there.”
Who knew what chaos she’d cause in his and Su Keke’s new home, especially when Keke wasn’t around?
“Then, Pleasant Sister, shouldn’t you head back? My roommates need to nap.”
“Don’t talk. Don’t move. Your sister’s tired and needs a rest too.”
Lin Lu didn’t dare question or budge.
He’d long noticed Zhuang Yanyue couldn’t sit still in his lap, like she had ADHD.
She seemed to think he was clueless.
He could only pretend to be oblivious.
Pointing it out would likely spell trouble for him.
The air grew quieter.
Her arms tightened around his neck, her face flushing deeper.
Until, at one moment, her tense body finally relaxed…
Roommates’ Suspicions
After Zhuang Yanyue left, satisfied, the three big guys stormed in, surrounding Lin Lu.
“You jerk! What did you and the counselor do locked in here so long?”
“Something’s off. The dorm didn’t smell like this before! Besides her perfume, there’s some weird vibe…”
“I had a male and female rabbit at home. During mating season, the air smelled just like this.”
Lin Lu cut off their wild guesses.
“It’s not my fault! I didn’t do anything.”
Indeed, Zhuang Yanyue had acted on her own, caring only about herself and leaving Lin Lu in a foul mood.
“Besides, you three are at it several times a day, making the dorm a mess. I haven’t said anything about that.”
The trio gave sheepish smiles.
“Back in high school, we were used to gripping pens for exams. Now in college with nothing to do, our hands get restless…”
“Damn it! I want a fair-skinned, long-legged beauty in the dorm with me too!” Fat Bro sulked in his bed, tired of his own hand.
“Pfft, 3D girls? I’m only into 2D ones,” Skinny Dog Bro said, though his heart ached.
Who wouldn’t prefer a warm, soft girl over a cold, flat character?
“If you can’t find a girl, just become one,” Slant Key Immortal mused, recalling his bittersweet journey into cross-dressing.
As a guy, he wasn’t remarkable, but in women’s clothes, he got attention from girls—and plenty of rough guys too.
People’s joys and sorrows don’t align.
Lin Lu just found them noisy.
“Brothers, a word of advice from experience: love? Even dogs don’t bother.”
“Damn you, Lin Lu! Keke and the counselor are your exes. Now Keke’s back with you, the counselor just… with you, and the student council president gave you sour plum juice this morning. Stop flexing!”
Lin Lu sighed.
Qian Zhongshu said marriage is like a walled city—those outside want in, those inside want out.
Lin Lu felt love was the same.
But the three naive boys, still starry-eyed about romance, didn’t listen.
An Unexpected Opportunity
Suddenly, Fat Bro leapt off his bed, excited.
“Good news, brothers! Our peach blossom luck’s here! A girl from our school added me, asking if we want to join their dorm for a mixer tonight. Heads up—these girls are PhD students, future rich ladies with endless potential.”
“Why would PhD students want us undergrads?” Skinny Dog Bro was puzzled.
“You don’t get it. Female PhD grads are nearly 30, anxious about marriage. But they want fresh meat like us 18-year-olds. We’ve got vigor—that’s our edge,” Fat Bro explained.
“Older sisters are great. They take care of you,” Slant Key Immortal said, a fan of mature women in his 2D world.
“I’ll pass. I’ve got tutoring tonight,” Lin Lu yawned.
“She said they’re bringing four girls, so we need four guys, or the mixer’s off… You have to come!”
“Aren’t PhD students in double or single rooms?”
“They’re from two dorms, four girls total.”
Lin Lu spoke earnestly, “Fat Bro, don’t you see my good intentions? You know my looks—I’d steal the show. If I don’t go, you guys have a better shot. I’m thinking of you…”
“Then just keep quiet and eat like a mute. You’re coming, or I’ll strip and cuddle you all night!”
Lin Lu shuddered at the thought.
The three rarely got chances to meet girls and were thrilled about this opportunity, looking at him expectantly.
He didn’t want to ruin it, especially since they’d backed him up this morning.
“Fine, I’ll go…”
