Chapter 31: Seduce me?
Feeling Zhou Ting’s gentle, almost cat-soothing touch, Lin Xiaoxiao pouted, a bit embarrassed.
But right now, she just wanted to stay in his arms, so she buried her face in his chest.
Zhou Ting continued to comfort the girl in his embrace. After a while, Xiao He, who had been knocked down by his kick, struggled to his feet, clutching his stomach and glaring at him resentfully.
“Let Xiaoxiao go!”
He recognized this man—the one who stole Xiaoxiao!
Hearing Xiao He’s voice, Lin Xiaoxiao lifted her head, her expression complex as she looked at his disheveled state.
This boy, whom she’d looked out for in the dorm, now made her wonder if she’d done something wrong.
If she hadn’t been so kind to him, would things have come to this?
Zhou Ting, seeing this, raised an eyebrow and said coldly, “Not bad, you can still stand?”
He stepped forward, but Lin Xiaoxiao grabbed him. Facing Xiao He, she said with disappointment, “Lao San, this is the last time I’ll call you that. From now on, we’ll never be friends.”
Xiao He’s face froze, his expression crumbling.
Lin Xiaoxiao turned to Zhou Ting. “Let’s go.”
He glanced at her. “Just let him off like that?”
Her eyes lowered, and she shook her head slightly. “I don’t know… but I won’t stop you.”
She knew Zhou Ting was upset, so she wouldn’t interfere with his actions. She just wanted to avoid the sight and the pain.
Hearing her, Zhou Ting pulled her into his arms, casting a cold glance at Xiao He before leading her out.
Anyone who dared covet his woman wouldn’t get off easily.
But knowing Lin Xiaoxiao’s soft heart, he decided to be merciful this time and handle it legally.
Outside the rental apartment, Lin Xiaoxiao realized it wasn’t far from the university.
Looking at the man beside her, she asked curiously, “Zhou Ting, how did you find me?”
He glanced at her without speaking.
His stare made her uneasy, and she was about to say something when he finally answered, “Through your phone.”
She blinked, her big eyes looking adorably clueless. “Huh?”
He didn’t elaborate. Just then, she noticed something off—they weren’t heading home.
When he brought her to a high-end hotel, realization hit, and a faint blush crept onto her face.
“You’re filthy. Go shower,” Zhou Ting said, eyeing her disheveled clothes with mild disdain.
Looking at herself—clothes torn, stained with blood—she nodded obediently and headed to the bathroom.
Inside, she noticed the frosted glass door. Though not transparent, it still made her self-conscious.
But it wasn’t unbearable, so she shed her clothes and let the shower’s water cascade over her.
After a while, Zhou Ting finished making arrangements. Hearing movement from the bathroom, he looked up.
His gaze heated. Lin Xiaoxiao emerged, wrapped only in a towel!
Her exquisite face, flushed from the shower, was captivating. Her delicate nose and perfectly shaped lips glistened invitingly.
Her fair, rosy skin, paired with the towel, accentuated her graceful curves. Her rounded, pert hips were endlessly tempting.
Barefoot, her small feet were smooth and fair, her skin almost translucent, with faint veins visible beneath. Her flawless ankles and delicate pink toenails were irresistibly alluring.
Zhou Ting approached, lifting her chin with a teasing smile. “Trying to seduce me?”
Her face reddened further, her eyes darting away. “N-no way! I just… didn’t have clothes to change into…”
Her shy demeanor made his throat tighten. Bending down, he scooped her into his arms.
“Eek!” Caught off guard, she instinctively reached for his neck, but her loosely tied towel slipped off…
Unable to hold back, Zhou Ting tossed her onto the bed and pounced.
“Mmph…” Feeling his heated breath, Lin Xiaoxiao, almost bewitched, felt a strange intoxication.
Seeing her alluring state, he chuckled. “Still saying you’re not seducing me?”
She refused to admit it. Unhurried, he kissed her briefly before pulling her into his arms. “Tell me everything that happened today.”
Her body softened, and his words sparked an odd sense of emptiness, as if something was left unfinished.
No, it must be an illusion!
Reassuring herself, she recounted the past two days’ events honestly.
But Zhou Ting’s face darkened. He raised his hand and delivered a sharp smack to her rear.
Slap!*
She yelped in pain, indignant. “You hit me again!”
Then she felt a slight sting as he bit her neck.
“Why didn’t you tell me about this?” he demanded.
She paused, a strange feeling stirring. Was he angry because of this?
“I… I thought it wasn’t a big deal, so…”
Before she could finish, he cut her off. “From now on, tell me everything. As my woman, only I get to bully you, got it?”
She pouted, muttering, “Got it.”
Though her tone sounded reluctant, a sense of comfort warmed her heart.
Noticing her clutching the towel’s edge awkwardly, he teased, “What’s with the cover-up? It’s not like I haven’t seen it.”
She trembled, glaring at him fiercely—though her look held no real threat.
He grabbed his phone, sending two messages to room service. “I’ve ordered clothes for you. Oh, we’re staying here tonight.”
No response came, as she was too busy biting her lip, enduring the wandering touch of his mischievous hand…
