Chapter 51: Eat the Sleeping Mom

Looking at Asteris’s pitiful expression, Liang Lai suddenly realized that she hadn’t properly spent time with the other children these past few days, focusing solely on Iluci.

She glanced back at Iluci lying on the bed.

“Little Xi, you should be feeling much better by now, right?”

Iluci desperately wanted to tell her, ‘Mom, it still hurts so much—could you stay and keep me company?’

But seeing Liang Lai’s face full of concern for the others, she clamped her mouth shut.

“Mm, I’m fine now, Mom. Go keep the sisters company.”

She put on an utterly obedient front.

Liang Lai stroked Iluci’s head with relief.

“Then tonight, keep an eye on how you’re feeling—if anything hurts, come find me right away.”

“Okay~”

Iluci nodded sweetly.

Asteris took Liang Lai’s hand.

“Then let’s go, Mom—Delucia’s waiting for us~”

After saying that, she glanced back at Iluci.

Iluci flinched, catching the threat in Asteris’s eyes.

Where was she taking the saintess?

What was she planning to do with the saintess?

Iluci ached to demand answers, but she was so weak, so helpless—her mouth opened and closed, swallowing every word back down.

It’d be fine—they were all Mom’s daughters; they wouldn’t do anything too extreme to her.

Oh, if only she knew.

Asteris led Liang Lai by the hand, stepping one by one into the room.

Delucia had been waiting ages; the instant she spotted Liang Lai, she flung herself into her arms.

“Mom, I missed you so much—you haven’t come see us in forever!”

Liang Lai pulled Delucia into her embrace.

She’d figured the twin sisters would pester her for playtime tonight as usual—but instead, Asteris and Delucia hustled her straight to bed, all for group sleepover.

“Mom, we played so hard today—we’re wiped. Mom needs early sleep too~”

With that, Delucia manhandled Liang Lai onto the mattress without a word, even tucking her in with care.

“Mwah~”

Asteris planted a kiss on Liang Lai’s forehead.

“That’s your goodnight kiss, Mom~”

Liang Lai found herself neatly arranged; she blinked in a daze.

But the next second, Asteris lifted her hand and clapped it over Liang Lai’s eyes.

“Sleep quick, Mom—sleep quick…”

The twin sisters’ voices wove like magic around Liang Lai’s ears, stirring a real flicker of drowsiness.

But something felt off—hadn’t she always been the one telling stories, coaxing the two to bed?

How had it flipped?

Roughly five minutes passed, and Liang Lai actually drifted off gradual.

Now.

Asteris and Delucia traded a look.

Same as before: Delucia melted slow into Asteris’s shadow.

Asteris’s shadow writhed alive, and soon black tendrils snaked from its depths.

Bottom-up, Delucia coiled ’round Liang Lai’s ankle, inching higher—ankle to thigh, thigh to waist, till it paused at her navel.

Delucia circled Liang Lai’s navel lazy.

Asteris chuckled, giving her sister a light pat.

“Enough dawdling—or Little Duo’s gonna fidget herself raw.”

Duoluosa was indeed fidgeting raw—and beat the invite; she ghosted to the twins’ door on her own.

“Hey, you done yet?” Duoluosa hissed low.

Asteris raised a finger sharp—shush sign instant.

“Not yet—keep it down.”

Duoluosa clapped a hand to her mouth, speech choked—but crept step by step to the bed’s edge.

Delucia griped at Duoluosa’s rush—ruining her savor—but sped the toxin plunge into Liang Lai’s veins.

So Delucia lashed ’round Liang Lai’s neck, tightening gradual like before.

“Guh—guh!”

In sleep, Liang Lai felt the choke clamp; she yearned to thrash—but numb all over, pinned stock-still.

“Hah~”

“Hah~”

She could only gulp air greedy, cheeks flushing bloom.

For some reason, seeing Liang Lai like this sparked a queer thrill in Duoluosa’s chest.

She should’ve pitied the distress—but watching her suffer… she craved to be the one dishing it.

God, to pinch Liang Lai’s throat, straddle her, squeeze gradual—till near-blackout, then release into a deep kiss.

The thought revved Duoluosa’s breaths ragged.

“Done yet?” She couldn’t hold the prod to Asteris.

Asteris finally nodded this time.

“All set~”

Her voice pitched brighter.

In dreams, Liang Lai twitched her head uneasy; the three girls’ eyes snapped to her, breaths held.

But Liang Lai just stirred once—then stilled total.

“She’s out cold for real?” Duoluosa asked.

“Mm—trust us; our toxin’s never flopped.” Asteris replied.

Then Asteris cleared a spot.

“Duoluosa, you’ve been starving for this, right? Hop on—feel what you’ve daydreamed endless~”

Duoluosa perched bed-edge.

Her hand slipped slow past Liang Lai’s arm—landing at last on that softness.

Yeah—that was her endless daydream, alright~

Duoluosa savored the give under her palm.

“Hoo~”

She drew deep breath.

“Don’t wanna kiss her?” Asteris coaxed soft from the side.

Truth: sans the pair watching, Duoluosa’d gone way bolder by now.

But eyes on her moves? She locked up stiff.

“Shy much?” Delucia queried from the shadow.

Bullseye—Duoluosa’s face flamed; she snarled: “Shut it!”

To dodge the shade, she hauled another breath—head dipping slow, till it met Liang Lai’s lips.

Ah~

So honey-sweet, so plush—drowning deep in bliss!

Duoluosa lost herself, forgetting the pair beside.

Watching Duoluosa feast rapt, Asteris and Delucia itched to dive—Delucia snaking back to Liang Lai’s ankle.
