Chapter 6: Fiancee

A Tangled History

Rather than an ex-girlfriend, Zhuang Yan Yue was more accurately his former fiancée.

For context, both grew up in the same upscale villa district, neighbors door to door.
Consequently, Zhuang Yan Yue, four years older, embodied the perfect image of a beautiful big sister next door, a lifelong childhood friend.

Their parents, both company owners, were perfectly matched and business partners.
Thus, they arranged a betrothal early on.
As a result, from elementary school, Lin Lu had a big sister fiancée.

However, reality struck cruelly.
When the Lin family went bankrupt, Lin Lu fled, and the engagement dissolved.
Essentially, it was a business alliance—once their families weren’t equals, marriage became impossible.

Although Zhuang Yan Yue’s family never officially ended it, Lin Lu knew they spared him out of old ties.
Yet, in time, those ties would erode.

Merchants prioritize profit over sentiment.

Past Betrayals

Worse still, before the bankruptcy, Lin Lu had deeply wounded Zhuang Yan Yue.
Despite their engagement, he chased other girls, cheating repeatedly, piling betrayals on his fiancée.

Back then, Zhuang Yan Yue likely endured him due to their families’ business ties.
For instance, she turned a blind eye when he flaunted other girls at school.

Now, Lin Lu was a nobody.
Facing her again, he dreaded how she’d settle old scores.

One Su Keke was already a headache; now Zhuang Yan Yue?
His life was becoming unbearable!

Entering the Counselor’s Office

With reluctance, Lin Lu trailed Zhuang Yan Yue to the Management College building, his expression grim.
Initially, he assumed university counselors held minor roles, sharing cramped offices.

Surprisingly, Zhuang Yan Yue’s office contained a single desk.
Only then did he recall her wealthy heiress status.
Why did a new counselor get a private office?

Simple: money talks.

Click.

Zhuang Yan Yue locked the door behind them.

Instantly, Lin Lu’s senses sharpened.

“Alone with your big sister, and you’re nervous? Haven’t seen me in ages, you’re so distant, Little Lu.”

Zhuang Yan Yue’s tone carried a hint of resentment as she sat on the sofa, crossing her right leg over her left.
Her long legs, encased in glossy black stockings, flaunted perfect calves.
Meanwhile, a black high heel dangled playfully from her toes.

“Teachers locking doors to be alone with students—is that okay?”

Lin Lu sat a body’s width away, uneasy.
After years apart, her transformation struck him.
She’d blossomed into a captivating woman, exuding sultry charm.

Gone was the gentle, refined big sister aura, proper and elegant.
Now, every word oozed a “succubus” allure, teasing his nerves like a cat’s claw.

Childhood Memories Resurface

Suddenly, Zhuang Yan Yue leaned closer, her perfume enveloping him.
Her seductive eyes scanned his face, noting his growth over the years.
“You and I, childhood sweethearts—why can’t we be alone?
Forget a room; sharing a bed was routine, right, naughty brother?”

Lin Lu couldn’t argue.
Though suggestive, as kids, they did share a bed—purely for sleeping.

Those memories were his dark history.
Young and clueless, he’d clung to Zhuang Yan Yue, demanding her cuddles to fall asleep.
Honestly, who wouldn’t crave a soft, sweet-smelling big sister?

Reflecting now, she’d spoiled him excessively.
What teenage girl, in her sensitive years, would allow such closeness?

Yet, young Lin Lu didn’t value it.
By middle school, he grew bored, chasing new girls instead.

Whether she truly doted on him or tolerated him for their families’ sake, now was her prime chance for revenge.
As a counselor, she could easily crush a student like Lin Lu, especially one chasing scholarships and honors.

A Risky Proposition

“If there’s nothing else, I’ll go. I need to find a part-time job.”

The more he spoke, the worse it got.
Lin Lu wanted to escape, hoping they’d leave the past behind and live separately.

As he stood, Zhuang Yan Yue grabbed his hand, her fingers teasingly grazing his palm.
“We haven’t discussed the college’s gala plans.
Why do you need a job?”

Lin Lu sighed.
“To earn money, obviously.”

“You? Earning money?”
Zhuang Yan Yue blinked, incredulous.
In her memory, Lin Lu only spent recklessly—his allowance, then hers, even using her money to gift other girls.

Then, a realization hit.
“Yesterday, I saw your name on the green channel loan list for tuition.
I thought it was a mix-up, but it’s really you.”

Only then did she grasp it: Lin Lu was no longer a rich heir.
With his parents gone, he fended for himself, relying on loans for tuition.

Had her once-arrogant little brother fallen so low?

Lin Lu hoped for sympathy, but instead, she tightened her grip.

“Want that tuition loan approved?
With this attitude, it doesn’t look like you do.”

He cursed himself for mentioning the job.
She’d block the loan anyway; now she had her excuse.

Lin Lu groaned.
“How could I not want it? Seeing you again, Big Sister, I’m practically crying with joy…”

“Such a good boy deserves a welcome gift.”

“What gift?”

Her sly smile sparked unease.
Sure enough, she pointed to her heels and stockings, chin raised, lips curving seductively.
“Naughty brother, help me take them off.”

“Why take off your shoes in the office?”

“To switch to slippers; it’s stuffy.”

“You’ve got hands and feet…”

“This is your gift.”
Zhuang Yan Yue kicked off one heel, using her toes to tug his pants, the sheer part of her stockings revealing delicate pink toes.

Only a foot fetishist would call this a reward!

“It’ll smell if you take them off…”

Women despised that word.
Zhuang Yan Yue glared lightly.
“It’s a fragrance. Want a taste? Kneel and beg.”

This wasn’t physical revenge—it was psychological.
His past betrayals had scarred her pride; now she’d erode his.

Once, Lin Lu was a proud lion, commanding others, never commanded.
Life’s grind had tamed him into a kitten.

Stripping Away Pride

Zhuang Yan Yue propped her elbow on the sofa, chin in hand, voice lazy.
“Little Lu, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
No loan, no tuition, no registration, no classes.
Without credits, you won’t graduate.
Your university years? Wasted.”

Her toes grazed his thigh, creeping inward, as if stripping his dignity.

“I get it, Sister Yue…”

Lin Lu clenched his jaw.
Pride was worthless—survival mattered.
Years of part-time jobs had drilled that in.

He crouched, catching a faint scent of laundry detergent mixed with her natural fragrance.
Her stockings shimmered in the sunlight streaming through the window.

He began peeling them off, inch by inch.

After years without such closeness, the familiar yet foreign touch stirred Zhuang Yan Yue.
Lin Lu glanced up, noticing a flush creep up her pale neck.
So, she could blush too.

“Why not take over your family’s company? Why stay as a counselor?”

“For you~”

He didn’t buy it.
He’d busted his hump to get into this top university.
No way she predicted that.

“Forget it then.”

“I told you, but you don’t believe me…
Keep the stockings. Like them?”

“Believe I’ll sell them online?”
Lin Lu tossed them back onto the sofa.

Zhuang Yan Yue stretched her legs, relishing the freedom from the stockings.

A Tense Interruption

Knock knock.

The office door rattled, locked.

“Counselor, are you in? We’re here to discuss the anniversary gala.”

Some students, bitter Lin Lu nabbed the coordinator role, came to pitch themselves.

Lin Lu stood, handing back the stockings, ready to open the door.
Zhuang Yan Yue grabbed him.

She could’ve opened the door or pretended to be out.
Instead, she called out, feigning panic, “Y-yes, I’ll open it soon. Wait a moment.”

Then, she advanced on Lin Lu.
Taller than Su Keke, with a fiercer figure and sultry gaze, she forced him back.
Her mature aura overwhelmed; a shy boy would’ve choked.

Before he knew it, he was pinned against the door.
Her foot hit it with a thud.
She slammed one hand beside him, the other lifting his chin, her curves amplifying the pressure.

Twice in one day—wall-slammed by two exes.

“Counselor, you okay?” a student called, hearing the noise.

“I’m fine. Just a moment, we’ll… finish soon~”

Zhuang Yan Yue dragged out “finish” suggestively, as if deliberate.

Clearly, the situation thrilled her.

A Provocative Power Play

“This is your office! Students are outside! What are you doing?!”
Her alluring figure left Lin Lu unsure how to push her away.

“Alone together, what else could we do?
Really clueless, or pretending, naughty brother?”

“Why now?”

“It’s more exciting now~”

“Teacher, please behave!”

“Behave? Teach your teacher how.”

Her words teased, but her actions pressed.
Her fingers pinched his cheeks.

Lin Lu could’ve resisted with his height, but her glare screamed: disobedient brothers get no tuition.

“At the meeting, I spoke seriously, but you kept your head down, ignoring me.
Not taking your teacher seriously, hm?”

“I was studying vocab…”

“Still stubborn. When I asked you to organize the gala, why’d you refuse?”

“Yue… Sister Yue… I was wrong…”
His pinched cheeks garbled his words.

Enveloped by her mature scent, her accusations dripped with allure.
Despite the humiliation, his body betrayed him, reacting to her closeness.

Zhuang Yan Yue paused, a shy glint flickering in her eyes.
“Years apart, and you’ve grown, Little Lu~”
