Chapter 64: Bondage Play.

As Li Tianxing carried Xie Qiyang into the delicately decorated, suggestive room, the gazes of the big shots on the upstairs terrace snapped to them.

His face, thick as a city wall, didn’t flinch. He even nodded politely to Ye Zhuxian and the others. “Grandma, esteemed Ancestors, sorry for the disturbance.”

With that, under their teasing or probing looks, he carried his little wife—still lost in her “who am I” existential crisis—into the room, closing the door behind them.

The shut door blocked out prying eyes, and the room’s faint, sweet fragrance grew thicker, seeping into Xie Qiyang’s nose, making her already racing heart beat faster.

This room… was too well-equipped! A carved canopy bed, silk-draped chaise, and even a steaming hot spring pool in the corner!

Bliss Pavilion lived up to its name—service so thorough it was scandalous.

Li Tianxing gently placed her on the exorbitantly plush bed. The moment her cheek touched the cool, silky sheets, her body sank into what felt like a warm, soft cloud.

“Mmm…” A satisfied sigh escaped her lips unbidden.

Ohhh, so comfy. The bed, the blankets, the pillows.

Her bones seemed to hum with pleasure.

The heavy thoughts about identity and the future were briefly flung to the clouds by this supreme comfort.

Ohhh! So comfy… I’m ruined… can’t go back. From frugality to luxury is easy; the reverse, impossible.

She couldn’t imagine returning to roughing it in the wild.

As Xie Qiyang basked in bliss, tempted to hug the blankets and sleep forever, Li Tianxing slipped into a small side room, fiddling with some unknown gadget.

He had no idea that a mere bed had already disarmed his little wife, leaving her ready to wave a white flag.

After a struggle, she propped herself up from the “gentle cloud,” her gaze catching three small buttons embedded in the headboard, etched with intricate, indecipherable runes glowing faintly—clearly no ordinary trinkets.

“This bed has mechanisms?” Curiosity overpowered the lazy comfort. With an adventurer’s thrill, she tapped the first button.

Buzz—!

A faint vibration hummed from the bed, which began to sway rhythmically—up, down, side to side.

The motion was… perfectly balanced. It started gentle, like a cradle, loosening her muscles, then quickened, the amplitude growing but staying in a sweet spot—exciting yet comfortable. Utterly user-friendly!

Xie Qiyang: “???”

She blinked, feeling the bed’s rhythm. What… was this for? Lulling her to sleep? Relieving fatigue? She wasn’t a toddler needing a cradle! So weird!

She tapped the first button again, and the swaying stopped, silence returning.

“Boring.” Pouting, curiosity drove her to poke the second button.

Nothing.

She tried the third.

Still nothing.

“What, broken?” She muttered, disappointed, ready to dive back into the cloud-like bed.

Click! Click! Click!

Chaos erupted!

From the bed’s edges and foot, seven or eight metallic tendrils with soft suction cups shot out like lightning, too fast for her to react.

“Ah?!” She yelped, instinctively trying to roll off.

Too late!

The tendrils moved with precision. Two wrapped her wrists, twisting them behind her at an angle that sapped her strength. Two bound her ankles, pinning them neatly. Another, outrageously, coiled around her waist, locking her to the bed.

“Mm?!” She tried to scream or curse, but a cool, fragrant silk ribbon shot from a hidden compartment, wrapping her mouth twice and knotting tightly, muffling her cries.

Then, the headboard began spraying a pink mist.

“Mmm! Mmm!” Xie Qiyang’s eyes widened in shock. She writhed like a fish out of water, her gaze filled with disbelief.

Calm down! Calm! She forced herself to focus. Li Tianxing was still in the side room. Making a scene and letting him see her like this… social death! She had to shut it off!

She tried mentally commanding the bed—maybe it had a spirit? No luck.

Her bound hands strained to reach the buttons, fingers twisting awkwardly, but they were half a foot too far.

She summoned her Lunar energy to freeze or break the tendrils, but their strange material absorbed it like a sponge, not even forming a speck of ice.

Struggling only tightened their grip, rendering her more immobile…

“Mmm! (Outrageous!)” Sweat beaded on her forehead, frustration and fury mixing. This bed’s quality was too good!

With brains and finesse failing, her stubborn streak kicked in. Brute force it was!

An Innate Realm cultivator, though low-level, should be able to snap a few metal tendrils, right?

Holding her breath, she focused, rallying every ounce of power in her dantian. Lunar energy failed, so she tried the unfamiliar, newly gained Solar energy.

A faint, searing heat flowed through her meridians, her pale skin glowing faintly golden. Muscles tensed, she prepared a thunderous strike.

“Break… NOW!!!”

Her mind roared, unleashing her full strength!

Buzz!

The bed hummed louder. The tendrils gleamed, sensing her resistance, tightening further. The suction cups unleashed stronger grip and a strange, nerve-numbing current!

“Mm!” A wave of constriction and tingling swept her body. Her gathered power deflated like a punctured balloon, leaving her drained.

She was pinned flat, unable to move a finger!

The Solar energy’s backlash churned her chest, vision darkening. Worse, the side room’s door… stayed shut.

What was Li Tianxing messing with in there?! Why wasn’t he out yet?!

Bound like a dumpling, gagged, and unable to call for help, Xie Qiyang passively inhaled the unknown pink mist, her thoughts slowing. She lay helpless, staring at the ceiling, eyes screaming life’s not worth living.
