Chapter 7: A Chance Encounter and a Pink Princess Dream

Maybe life always holds a few strange encounters, like going back to her hometown, riding the bus for the first time, and meeting someone she fell for at first sight.

If that wasn’t an encounter,

Jiang Ning bit her lip, thinking—what else could it be?

Before this, she’d always thought… she was straight. Her sister was the odd one out! The bad egg who’d get a stern talking-to from Mom and Dad!

But, but…

The little one she fell for was so young. In ancient times, she’d… okay, even now, she’d probably end up in jail!

What kind of person was she?

So perfect she didn’t seem real, with glossy black hair cascading like a waterfall, damp with water, paired with an almost unreal haze. Her cute cheeks puffed out from eating a burger.

That fleeting allure when she lifted her little head, paired with the innocent, clueless look under those long lashes, made her gem-like eyes even deeper, impossible to look away from.

“Ugh…”

The more Jiang Ning thought, the redder her face got. She took a deep breath, pulled out her phone, and dialed a number. “Sis, you free?”

“Nope~”

“It’s, it’s important!”

“Oh, missing your sister’s hugs? Not impossible.”

Jiang Ning’s little fist clenched. “Hmph, if you don’t talk properly, I’ll tell Mom about the little toys in your closet!”

“You wouldn’t dare!”

The voice on the other end got loud. Jiang Ning quickly covered her ear, then continued smugly once it quieted, “You home?”

“I am. Come find me.”

Jiang Cha sighed, her voice a bit glum. “Fine, but you better not bring it up again.”

“Deal!” Jiang Ning nodded lightly.

With her sister as a scapegoat, she should be in the clear, right? If Mom got mad, she’d just say her sister led her astray!

“Hmph… that’s how it is.”

She remembered, long ago, her sneaky sister slipped into her room, saying she wanted to do “grown-up things” with her little sis… then tricked her into falling asleep so she could hog the computer!

“Ugh… the more I think, the weirder it gets!”

Half an hour later, Jiang Ning rushed home, not even changing before barging into her sister’s room.

Inside,

A pretty girl, about two years older than Jiang Ning, sat there. To Jiang Ning’s surprise, she still felt no interest in her sister…

So, was she actually a lolicon?!

“Wah! Sis, you gotta help me.” Jiang Ning pitifully hugged Jiang Cha. She’d always been the good girl—how could she suddenly turn into a pervert!

“In love? With a girl.”

Jiang Cha leisurely poured herself a glass of water, slowly turning her chair. “I’m not wrong, am I? Anything to add?”

“A… a little.” Jiang Ning said weakly.

“Huh?”

Jiang Cha sensed something off. When did her bratty sister get so polite? “What else is going on…” she asked cautiously.

“She, she looks kinda young.”

Jiang Ning’s face flushed, sitting on Jiang Cha’s bed, hugging a pillow. “Maybe my classmate’s little sister?”

(Maybe not even human.)

(Jiang Ning didn’t dare say that out loud. She’d secretly asked about Luo Su’s classmates, and everyone said he was just a normal boy… she’d keep observing.)

“Oh~” Jiang Cha lit up, her slender fingers brushing Jiang Ning’s face. “I knew it… little Ning’s not into her sister because she’s got a thing for kids~”

“N-no way.” Jiang Ning turned her head.

“Hmph, what’s her name, where’d you meet, is she cute?” Jiang Cha fired off excitedly.

“T-too many questions…”

Jiang Ning guiltily buried her face in the pillow.

“Spill it, one by one!” Jiang Cha was dying to know.

“Her name… I don’t know, but her last name’s probably Luo!” Jiang Ning twisted her shirt, her voice shrinking. “Met her in a dream… but she’s really cute…”

“What?”

Jiang Cha’s expression froze. “So you don’t even know her name, and you’re telling me you’re into her?!”

She paused,

Pinching her sister’s cheek in frustration. “You’re just blinded by beauty, aren’t you? Hmm?”

“N-no, I’m not…” Jiang Ning mumbled.

Jiang Cha crossed her arms, leaning back in her chair. “So why’d you dream about her~? Daytime thoughts, nighttime dreams, huh?”

“I…”

Jiang Ning couldn’t take her sister’s teasing anymore, blurting out, “Fine, I’m smitten by her looks, okay! Hurry, teach me how to chase her…”

“She’s the cute type?”

“Mm…”

“Easy peasy~” Jiang Cha snapped her fingers, wagging her index finger confidently. “Cute girls are the easiest to win over. Take her somewhere exciting, act a bit like a delinquent, and you’re set.”

“Gulp…” Jiang Ning asked nervously, “So that’s what you thought back then, Sis?”

“Get out right now!” Jiang Cha snapped.

“Got it, goodnight, Sis~”

Jiang Ning hummed as she skipped out, secretly thrilled. As expected, poking her sister’s sore spots was the way to handle her—otherwise, she’d push her luck.

But speaking of…

Her sister probably knew this stuff well. So, to win over that little one—Jiang Ning flopped onto her soft bed, rolling with a pillow—just do what she did in last night’s dream, right?

“I’m such a genius!”

She buried her face in the blanket, giggling. Last night was all her improvisation. Talent like that? Totally unfair!

“Where… is this?”

Luo Su blinked in confusion. Before her was an extravagant pink princess bed—big enough for three of her.

The room was filled with lace-trimmed decorations, plush toys, and sparkling crystal ornaments, oozing a saccharine girly vibe.

“Why’d I dream of a place like this…”

She pouted, cheeks puffing slightly. Sure, she looked unfairly cute now, but deep down, Luo Su was convinced—she was absolutely a tough guy!

After a bit of grumbling,

Luo Su didn’t forget her mission. She’d only eaten a small lean meat soup tonight and was starving…

“Here we go!”

Luo Su happily wagged her little tail, its slender tip tracing joyful arcs behind her.

A mountain of crispy golden fried chicken legs sat on the plate before her, their tempting aroma flooding her nose. She rubbed her hands, eyes sparkling. “Tonight, I’m eating till I’m stuffed~”

“That’s what I’m thinking too~”

“Wah?!”

Luo Su jumped, startled, looking up to see that female thug lounging lazily on the pink bed, propping her cheek and smiling at her.

“So… little one, you’re a succubus, right?”

Luo Su’s heart skipped a beat. She hurriedly hid her tail behind her, blinking her big, watery eyes and playing dumb. “W-what’s big sister talking about? I don’t understand~”
