Chapter 9: Could she be a demolition goddess?
Tang Yingjie carried the girl on his back and dashed down with one powerful stride.
The two of them turned into a black shadow in the air. Feeling the strong wind rushing against them and the rapidly approaching ground, Tang Yingjie stomped in mid-air, creating a sonic boom.
A rolling thunderous sound echoed around the dormitory building.
Tang Yingjie and Alice used the reaction force from that stomp to land steadily on the ground.
“Hurry.”
The moment his feet touched the ground, Tang Yingjie grabbed Alice and ran.
He had no idea whether the loud noise he just made would attract anyone who was still awake at this hour.
For example, seniors pulling all-nighters for their graduation projects, or some god-tier night owls. It was better to slip away quickly.

A few seconds after the sonic boom, several windows on both dormitory buildings opened. A few heads poked out into the night, looking at the sky and then at the ground.
