Chapter 32: Weird School 1 Girl

A cold breeze slipped through her hair, brushing her delicate skin, making her shiver.

Blindfolded by a black silk ribbon, Xu Nian’s hands and feet were bound, the thin fabric doing little to shield her from the warmth of the person holding her.

She didn’t know where she was, only that the wind was fierce, her body cold, instinctively craving the heat of the embrace she didn’t push away.

Such a familiar scent.

Why couldn’t she resist it? Even her soul seemed drawn to it…

The person rested their chin on her shoulder, holding her tightly. Warm breath grazed her skin, a faint fragrance lingering at her nose.

Lips, vibrant as spring petals, moved softly, whispering, “Fila?”

As if a switch flipped, warm lips met hers, sharing breath, a sweet taste blooming in her mouth.

Drained of strength, her legs buckled, collapsing into the warm embrace.

They caught her, gently supporting her slender waist, their bodies and souls entwined, inseparable.

“Mmm…”

A hot hand grazed her skin, senses amplified, tears soaking the blindfold.

“Mmm… not… here…”

The clash of the cold environment and fiery body sent her mind reeling.

Then, she passed out.

Consciousness returned. Xu Nian opened her eyes slowly.

The blindfold was gone, her head ached, body weak.

She lay on a hospital bed in an unfamiliar place.

A bedside table held medicines, blue curtains shielding her from the outside.

Was this… an infirmary?

“You’re awake?”

A girl with waist-length hair, back to her, turned. She wore a white blouse with a bow and a blue pleated skirt, like a school uniform.

Her sculpted, beautiful face met Xu Nian’s, high nose bridge framing starry eyes, a perfectly placed tear mole enhancing her purity.

Concern softened her voice. “I found you passed out in the sports storage room. Are you okay?”

Xu Nian stared, then answered, “I’m fine.”

The tear mole was uncannily like hers, same spot.

What was wrong with her?

Lack of rest?

Self-doubting, she rubbed her temples, trying to dismiss unrealistic thoughts.

To shift focus, she glanced around, asking, “Where is this?”

The girl looked puzzled, shaking her head. “I don’t know. A school, maybe.”

Xu Nian raised a brow. “You’re not a student here?”

“Nope.”

The girl blinked, confusion deepening.

Another player.

“Thanks for saving me.”

Xu Nian thanked her, sliding off the bed, heading out.

“Wait!”

Her wrist was grabbed.

Not planning to team up, but grateful, Xu Nian asked softly, “Anything else?”

The girl pointed at her collar, blushing, stammering, “Your… collar’s open.”

Xu Nian looked down. A red mark—a bite—stood out on her collarbone, left by that mysterious person.

The Young Lady…

Still biting like a puppy.

Xu Nian’s eyes flashed with exasperation, face heating as she fixed her collar. “Thanks.”

She turned for the door.

Time to settle things with the Young Lady.

“Where are you going?”

The striking girl followed, trailing her down the corridor.

Xu Nian scanned the hallway. It looked like any school’s, except…

Every classroom door bore the same sign: Class 1, Grade 1.

The corridor seemed endless. Looking back, the infirmary had vanished.

Before and behind, every classroom was labeled Class 1, Grade 1.

“How are they all the same class? So creepy…”

The girl clung to Xu Nian’s arm, warmth seeping through her sleeve.

Xu Nian glanced at her, saying nothing. She disliked close contact, but… didn’t mind this.

She let her hold on. “You don’t have to follow.”

“But you just fainted. Are you really okay?”

“I’m fine,” Xu Nian retorted.

The girl gently shook her hand, eyes pleading, cautious.

Her pitiful look softened Xu Nian’s heart, words catching in her throat.

“…Fine, follow.”

Xu Nian relented, helpless.

The girl’s eyes gleamed with a hint of mischief.
