Chapter 9: Mission Successful.

Overall, there were still four days left until the ridiculous mission of cohabiting with a girl would be complete.

Living with a girl wasn’t actually as endless as he’d imagined—
because the other party was Bai Huang.
She was his good brother, after all.
They’d already shared a dorm for an entire semester before.
Deep down, Lu Hang had never treated Bai Huang as a girl at all.
Even if her figure had become curvaceous and alluring,
she was still his brother.
Perhaps because both of them were, to some extent, avoiding reality,
they got along peacefully and rarely brought up the fact that Bai Huang had turned into a girl.

The goddess had said she turned everyone in his old dorm into girls—
meaning besides Bai Huang, Mu Yinan and those three bastards had also been hit.

Lu Hang still felt a little worried about his dorm brothers,
but those three didn’t reply to any messages.
After trying to contact them with no success,
he could only comfort himself:
once they woke up and realized their dicks were gone,
couldn’t go back to the dorm, couldn’t go to class—
sooner or later they’d reach out to him, their brother.

As for the time spent cohabiting with Bai Huang…

What do you do when your brother turns into a girl?

The two of them reached a very tacit agreement.

Avoidance.

After Bai Huang became a girl,
she couldn’t get into school anymore—face recognition wouldn’t work,
so naturally she couldn’t attend classes.
During this time, she was a mess inside, drowning her sorrows in alcohol.
Lu Hang, of course, had zero other thoughts toward her—
he was single-mindedly focused on surviving one week of cohabitation,
handing in the mission to the goddess,
and secretly rejoicing that he’d found a loophole.

Fortunately, this was his good brother.
A good brother didn’t count as a woman.

Once the two bros were together again—
former roommates from the same male dorm—
their life became utterly chaotic and debauched.

How to continue living after turning into a girl?
Neither had any clue, so they both shoved the question to the back of their minds.
Lu Hang’s reason for avoidance was simple:
after spending these days together and sorting through the mess in his head,
he realized Bai Huang’s dick was gone because of him.
Out of guilt, he treated her a little better these days—
giving her an extra chicken leg at meals,
just so his conscience could feel a bit lighter.

Bai Huang’s reason for avoidance was even simpler:
her dick was gone.

She couldn’t go back to the dorm,
couldn’t go home.
A grown man now looked like a stunning model—
for a while, even this brother couldn’t accept it.

So both of them started using gaming to escape.

Perhaps because neither had much experience living independently,
this was the first time Lu Hang had rented a place with no one supervising him.
He finally tasted rare freedom.
He originally thought he could still be disciplined—
exercise every day, read every day—
but the plan was thrown out the window the moment it was made.
Life became thoroughly degenerate.
Back in freshman year, he’d front-loaded all his electives to make later years easier.
Now in his sophomore first semester, major courses weren’t heavy either.
His schedule looked almost empty.
With nothing much happening on campus,
days passed in utter chaos and darkness.

The only difference was that now, in the midst of this chaos, there was Bai Huang.

On the very first day living in Lu Hang’s place,
with no games to play, she ran to the electronics market next door
and bought a laptop outright in full cash.
Truly the behavior of a rich kid.

Two college students, each hugging a computer, alone in one room—
it was like dry wood meeting fierce fire.
They climbed ranks until even the main roads were worn smooth.

Their routine was basically this:
wake up, see Bai Huang rubbing her eyes,
sitting on the bed with a dazed expression,
gripping her own ankle in a trance for a while,
then turning her head:
“Old Hang, you hungry?”

Lu Hang would say yeah, he was hungry too.
She’d reply: “Let’s go, I’m treating you to food.”

The two of them—disheveled, sleepy-eyed—
would stumble outside and grab whatever looked good nearby.
Sometimes fried stinky tofu, sometimes grilled skewers and cold noodles,
sometimes Western food or Italian, sometimes Japanese.
The price range swung wildly—
depending entirely on what caught their eye that day.
After eating, they’d rush back to Lu Hang’s little pigsty for passionate ranked sessions.

When they started, one was Silver IV, the other Bronze I.
Now one was Bronze II, the other Bronze III.
Progress was remarkable.

They tried every meta, bought piles of useless skins.
All expenses were footed by Young Master Bai.

Come nighttime, it was either delivery of spicy crawfish with beer,
or barbecue delivery with beer.

Bai Huang had once said her family was loaded,
so she’d been tightly controlled at home.
Now in college, far from parental eyes,
all the things she couldn’t do or eat before exploded into excess.
She was like a wild horse off the reins—
thankfully without the stereotypical spoiled-rich-kid arrogance or germophobia.
Slightly influenced by Lu Hang’s degeneracy,
she sprinted full-speed down the path of ruin.

The two of them in a pigsty rental,
hugging computers, munching delivery,
drinking cola, duo queuing with fiery passion—
climbing ranks until heaven and earth went dark.

“Climbing” meaning LP.

Sometimes they woke up not knowing whether it was day or night.

One time upon waking, he saw her leg shamelessly draped over his stomach.
The black lace bra bought on discount days ago wrapped around her round, fair chest,
rising and falling slowly with her breathing.
Her beautiful face had zero guard.
At first—even knowing it was his brother—
Lu Hang still felt a tiny jolt of heartbeat.
Three days later, he’d gotten used to it.
Groggily staring at her hair glowing gold in the afternoon sun,
his heart ached faintly from too much gaming.
There was always this vague feeling that if he wasn’t careful,
they’d both drop dead together from exhaustion.

There was indeed a bed in the room.
Lu Hang had originally planned to buy a blanket and sleep on the floor.
The unspoken reason was propriety between men and women.

Bai Huang didn’t care at all.
She looked him up and down:
“Bro, there’s a bed, so just sleep on the bed.
You left, me right.
Why waste money on blankets and sheets?
You scared I’ll jump you at night or something?”

Her words actually made perfect sense.
For a moment Lu Hang was speechless.

Was he afraid she’d jump him at night?

No?

Then why not sleep together?

…No problem at all?

There was some hidden thing at play here.
If he refused to share the bed with her,
it would feel like he no longer treated Bai Huang as the brother he used to share pants with.
It would be like viewing her through a different lens—
as a girl instead of his good brother.
That would create a rift in their relationship.

So the thing they were avoiding came back to the surface:
was Bai Huang actually a girl now?
Both of them got headaches just thinking about it—
a topic neither wanted to touch.

The first night of cohabitation was very much shoujo-manga style.
Lu Hang, still a young man, kept suppressing the shyness in his heart.
Under the blanket, his legs would often brush against hers.
Her legs were full and cool to the touch.
Sometimes she’d scratch her head and get up to use the bathroom.
In the dark, the beautiful curve of her back became a silhouette,
then the bathroom light turned on.

Shoujo manga never mentioned that beautiful girls pee.

She peed with such force you could probably hear it in the hallway.

After flushing with great momentum,
she’d sit dazed on the edge of the bed hugging a beer,
looking a little lost,
tilting her head back to chug a few gulps.

Then her head would drop,
smashing into the mattress as if trying to break through it,
and she’d continue sleeping peacefully.

Sometimes when alone in the room,
he’d glance over unintentionally—
her face was refined like a movie star,
her figure outstanding,
phoenix eyes with tear mole,
eyes narrowed slightly, carrying a serious yet dangerous, seductive air—
like a thousand-year-old fox spirit stealing souls.

Three days later, when Lu Hang saw her narrow her eyes again,
the only thing he felt was exasperation.

Because when her eyes narrowed,
her mouth usually said things like:
“I need to take a shit, bro.
Can you play both top and bot for a bit?
Hold my account.”

Or:
“I just wanna ask this dumbass support—
why aren’t you peeling for me?
Why peel for the AD instead?”

Or:
“Where’s the jungler? Jungler?! Fuck, save me!
Don’t farm your goddamn wolves!”

She didn’t say anything else.

But if her tongue poked out slightly,
cheeks faintly red,
twisting shyly, looking adorably bashful and meek—
then her mouth would say:
“Sorry, I fed, bro.
Can you handle that 12-1 Kai’Sa on the other side later?”

Mouth closed: like a perfect anime girl.
Mouth open: wanted to punch her twice.

That was his good brother Bai Huang.

So this week really wasn’t worth talking about much.
Climbing ranks, playing games—
days passed in utter chaos and darkness.

During this week, by unspoken agreement,
neither of them brought up Bai Huang turning into a girl.

If nothing unexpected happened,
the goddess should contact him about the mission today.
Thinking about it, Lu Hang’s feelings were inevitably complicated.
Just then, around afternoon, he woke up.
Turning his head, he saw a round butt in black lace panties facing him,
breathing evenly, sleeping soundly.
Groggily staring at her tight back and unusually soft waist,
for a moment an odd feeling rose in his heart.

The feeling startled him.
He jumped out of bed like his ass was on fire.

He’d almost pitched a tent for his good brother.

He yanked the curtains open.
Bai Huang—now living here for a full week—let out a miserable wail,
rolled over in a daze, legs spread wide, face twisted in pain.
She threw an arm over her eyes to block the sunlight leaking in,
one tear-moled eye sleepily focusing on Lu Hang.

“…Hang-ge, what time is it?”

“Three thirty.”
Lu Hang grabbed a cigarette from the table, hurriedly pulling up his pants.

Bai Huang kept her arm over her forehead, didn’t move,
squinted to refocus, puzzled as she watched him dress:
“Where you going?”

“You’re asking where I’m going? I have class today.”
Lu Hang sighed, wiped his face, thinking:
this guy had been here four days already.
He’d had no classes the first three, only Thursday and Friday periods this week.
Bai Huang had been at his place almost a full week,
playing games with him until heaven and earth went dark:
“You? No class? I remember your classes take attendance by name.
Just sneak in, write your name on the list—done.
Skipping?”

“Too lazy.”
She peacefully closed her eyes again.

Too lazy—fair enough.

Lu Hang didn’t think much of it.
Seeing her drift back to sleep, he headed out for class,
leaving her alone at home.

The afternoon lecture was mind-numbingly boring—
a Qing Dynasty PowerPoint read aloud by the professor.
Everyone below either read novels or played mobile games.
Lu Hang continued napping through class.
When time was up, he vaguely heard the teacher say “class dismissed,”
then stumbled sleepily toward the door.

Stepping outside, the sky was high and clouds light.

Suddenly he remembered his good brother—
currently in lace panties, sleeping thousand-times-more-beautiful on his bed.
His footsteps toward home paused.
He sighed.

He suddenly felt a little afraid to face a brother like this.

While Lu Hang’s mind was in turmoil,
his phone chimed.

“WeChat transfer: 20,000 yuan.”

The sudden twenty thousand stunned him.

Looking down, it was a transfer from “Omniscient and Omnipotent Goddess.”
While he was still dazed,
that slightly unhinged goddess called him immediately.
He answered and heard her lazy voice:

“Not bad at all.
First mission officially completed.
Congrats on cohabiting with a girl for a full week.
These twenty thousand are your reward…”

“So? My mission’s pretty good, right?”

“After living with her, did you fall in love with her?
Do you have that super strong urge to date now?”
