Chapter 17: Take the path of a yandere and leave the yandere with no way to go!

Chen Siyu was satisfied with Song Yao’s answer. She dragged her suitcase into the dorm and began inspecting every corner.

She didn’t usually live in the dorm, but this wasn’t her first visit. She used to drop by often to find Song Yao—every inch of this room was familiar.

Today, though, she prowled like a lioness marking territory, memorizing every detail: every scratch on the desks and chairs.

“S-Siyu, let me help with your luggage…”

Song Yao was genuinely scared.

Yesterday morning’s basement captivity still haunted her. She feared another sap and lockup.

“No need, Yao Yao. I brought little.”

Chen Siyu tossed the suitcase into a corner and headed to the balcony.

Song Yao steadied it.

Ordinary-looking case—but she’d glimpsed the price once.

Five figures!

Not luggage—portable cash.

Not hers, but still painful to see damaged.

“Ah!”

A scream from the balcony spiked Song Yao’s heart.

“What?! What?!”

She bolted over—saw Chen Siyu holding yesterday’s bloodstained shirt, face horrified.

Oh no. Done.

She’d soaked it in detergent after changing, planning a proper wash today.

Blood sets hard—overnight soak first, other methods if needed.

But three roommates vanished, Chen Siyu moved in—no time to clean.

“Yao Yao, you… murdered someone?”

Chen Siyu’s first thought fried Song Yao’s brain.

Why murder?

Couldn’t it be her injury? Or saving someone?

Before Song Yao spoke, Chen Siyu continued: “No wonder your three roommates disappeared. Didn’t expect you to… It’s fine! Cooperate—I’ll keep you safe!”

“???”

Song Yao numb.

Big sis, imagination too wild?

“Siyu, don’t guess. You know I’m law-abiding. Even bad terms—I wouldn’t hit!”

“Then they hit you?”

Chen Siyu’s eyes flashed cold—murder rising behind her.

Song Yao trembled.

Commoner rage: blood five steps.

Yandere rage? No less—especially rich, powerful miss yandere.

Misexplain? Tomorrow: three knife-riddled “suicides” in Baisha River.

“No! Yesterday, saved an injured person on the way. Blood rubbed off!”

Song Yao rushed.

“Really not lying?”

Chen Siyu’s gaze pierced—peeling for lies.

“Really!”

Technically saved a girl—cause of injury? Unsaid.

“Good.”

Chen Siyu relaxed—no digging.

Song Yao thought it over—heart settling.

Then Chen Siyu’s next line sent it plummeting.

“Yao Yao, why so dressed up today? Going on a date… with someone I don’t know?”

Damn. Shouldn’t have prepped early.

Normal client? A thousand fixes.

But yandere? Her simp skills—paper tigers.

Luckily, two yanderes + overnight summary = experience.

For mild yandere like Chen Siyu: ultimate move—”Sincerity.”

Song Yao feigned depth, deep breath.

“Siyu, I must be honest.”

Chen Siyu arms crossed, eyes icy—blade to heart.

Song Yao outwardly calm, inwardly panicking.

“What?”

“Can’t cut current ties. I need normal life, study, social.”

“You said what?”

Switch flipped—blood glint in eyes. Knife next?

Song Yao steadied. “I mean: must improve to deserve you. You’re Chen heiress—I’m rural kid.

Huge gap. To close it, I work hard—but must interact with others.

But Siyu, trust: loyal to you. Any betrayal—I end myself, no need for you.”

Chen Siyu silent—murder fading bit by bit.

Working. More.

Song Yao grabbed scissors from drawer, aimed at neck. “Doubt me? Prove now!”

She feigned thrust.

Chen Siyu saw no joke—chill vanished. Lunged, snatched scissors, inspected neck.

“Yao Yao, so silly! I believe—don’t hurt yourself to prove!”

Song Yao inwardly cheered.

She bought it!

“Then I’m heading out later…”

“Go. I trust you, Yao Yao.”

After confirming no injury, Chen Siyu exhaled.

Song Yao smirked.

Little yandere miss—handled!

Walk the yandere path—leave yanderes no road!
